Geet thought hard about it.

And anyway, you look at it this just seemed like a pie falling down from heaven. Given the man was intolerable, but if terms, benefits and duties are defined in black and white it’s not that bad. Plus, she knows that he means no harm or malice... jokes and pranks to extreme yes...

Plus, she doesn't even have any show or work prospect right now.

If they get married, he can help her get into some auditions. She won't ask for a role directly.

Best of all, if she does get a job then she will be gone for shooting for who knows how long. That means actual interaction between them is going to be few and far in between... so why not.

For a moment she also thought of discussing this with her family, but immediately dismissed the idea. They will agree, she knows for sure. On the contrary they will enthusiastically agree and won't keep this marriage hidden as she wants... so better not tell them anything.

Ye sab soch kar she says yes next day.

They sign the contract with few added conditions like:

- No disclosure/leaking of private or professional details of each other.

- Non-disclosure of marriage and this contract

- Remaining faithful and loyal. No affairs or sleeping around.

- No act to destroy each other's reputation

- No interference in work and career

- Geet can ask for Maan's connections/resources at Max 2 times per year. Be it to get an audition/secure a role/PR related help/loan/contract liquidation fee/legal trouble. Anything

- Monetary clauses like each other’s property before and after marriage will remain same.

And the few other things that Geet had mentioned last night.

Sab Mila jula kar they sign it, go for medical and mental health checkup up.

Once the report comes and both are cleared of any issues or diseases, they go to the marriage registrar and get married.

These 2-3 days seems surreal toGeet.

After getting married they have lunch to toast their marriage.

M- I don't have anything urgent that requires your presence. I think around 3 months later for xx festival I would need you to accompany me for the family gathering. What about your family. Have you told them?

G-Ah…No. I don't want to. Sure... in 3 months... till then?

M- Do whatever you want.

Geet nods but feels confused…. do what?

After lunch they both go on their on their own way and Geet suddenly remembers that they haven't discussed living arrangement.

She keeps living in artists dormitory/apartments arrangement by the artist management company.

He didn't ask her to move in... then what about the physical part of the deal?

Wait a minute... there was no clause about it... then? What's going on?

Jaldi jaldi meni sign karte time yahi sab cheezein toh Geet ne miss kar di

Geet is slowly realizing that if Maan was seedha saadha jisko everyone can understand toh people won't be fearing him and avoiding him all the time.

He is a cynical suspicious prankster genius type who plays his cards close to chest... and most of the time he doesn't even get opponents to play with.

Her thoughts are still in disarray as she reaches her room. She doesn’t know how long she sat and spaced out on her bed when her thoughts were broken by the phone ringing.

The call was about the host role which she had won through auditions... apparently, she is going to be the host. The Para shooter had gone to some other show, her shooting starts tomorrow.

Finishing the call in her continuing bewildered state she saw an unread message from Maan.

'Consider this one as marriage gift. Doesn't count as one of the 2 favors I owe you for this year.'

Maan’s Point of View:

When Maan first encountered Geet and got drunk played with her a little then she didn't really leave much of an impact on him only that he enjoyed the evening and the company.

The second time he really was out of it. The morning after suffering from the hangover he felt like he had entered some alternate universe.

Where was the glamourous chic woman? Who is this Doppelgänger?

It felt like a cheesy soap moment where a rich guy encounters a down to earth upright poor woman and says- ' Very well. You have caught my attention.'

She did catch his attention. That was the truth. Even though she wasn't dress to impress and was bare faced. Her drive, her passion, her confidence, her perseverance to do something big and not become an obscure nobody caught his attention.

But it felt like she didn't want to entangle him, so he left it alone.

That is until the 3rd time they met.

He felt bored out of his mind and irritated with all the plastic greetings and the women twittering around him.

He kept counting the mins until when he could leave. Spewing some same nonsense to avoid talking to women thrown at him. He really felt they were bunch of wh**** with no integrity.

That’s when he saw her again catering to people…. lowering head and silently accepting criticism ... hiding behind a mask...

He felt a moment of anger... what is this? What happened? He…. He didn't do this right? Who did this?

He walked over to her wanting to be sure it's her and not another doppelganger. And saw her weary and tired eyes…heard her meek question - what pasta he wants.

Ahhh F the pasta... what is she doing! She isn't supposed to be this way!

Was all he thought and before he knew he pulled her to the dance floor. Under the spotlight.

He wanted to rip off her mask.

But she stopped him and ran away.

To be honest, he didn't think he really cares about her…or that she had truly caught his attention.

At least he kept thinking this way; until one day in his office he realized that a complete hour had passed by, and he had been watching her commercials on repeat.

He realized that he is interested in her.

Later he found more of her daily life reels and videos to watch.

It was probably fate or strange coincidence that when he had been spacing out watching her, the director for the new show saw him randomly browse through video platform and stop to watch a nameless nobody.

From there the idea cropped up to add contestants who have some influencer fame.

And Geet got the call to participate.

Meeting Geet again at the yacht and seeing her all fired up and burning with fighting spirit, Maan gave himself a mental pat on the back.

This is how things should be.

Mentally sparring with her in their encounters brought him satisfaction that one only finds after finding a worthy adversary.

If the opponent is too dumb. it's no fun to play.

And when they are at his level, they are usually unwilling to play with him.

Even when they do its mostly business deals and negotiation. All serious stuff

And they all are weary of him and avoid him if possible.

This poor girl though... she is teachable... she has grit... not stupid... talented too... easy on the eyes... and can't escape him.

He gives out a little snort at his thought.

Yes, he did think she was talented... blame him for being too discerning... he had always been able to read people... read their true intent behind the schemes and flowery words... there really was no "honest" person... even people with great integrity and high moral character will hide things ... manipulate the truth under the guise of ' it is better this way' or ' I did it for you'.

Her acting ability was good... he could see through it but still wanted to go along with it. He didn't want to uncover her small, cute schemes. He wanted to prank her in return instead.

And when the show was coming to end and the thought of not seeing her again made him little sad. Rarely anything made him sad. And if anything did, he would remedy it immediately but towards this woman he felt a little guilty and wanted to respect her wishes this one time.

So, he left it all alone... there are plenty of fish in the sea... he will soon find something or someone else.

But look at the heavens helping him!

In front of him was the report about the shows progress and how they have changed the host and the benefits and plus points of the new host.

After reading the report and thinking about it he went to meet Geet.

Sometimes it's better to secure and keep the things you like by your side and to hell with moral values of not treating people as objects (as a mental health counselor had once told him)

Well finally Geet said yes to the proposal & now they got married after all the tests & required formalities which is obvious

Geet is under a deep thinking for a reason which could convince her for this relationship & knowing Maan well she was bit unsure of all this as well as there were no clause about their new relationship

Well I found Maans pov very interesting & it was very close to his thinking & the character you have penned ... Things are going to be more interesting as Geet is on board for her project she won

Fabulous and Feisty Update 

Maan and Geet gets a contract marriage done 

but he only needs her after 3 months for a party 

and both go their own way .

yet it's Maan that ensured she gets a Host job 

Maan now realizes that Geet is very much different to all other women 

Wow. Both parts amazing 

So Maan wants to get married to her. And not too many things geet has to do 

They have not talked about living arrangements for sure. Does he not want to know where she will live??

geet is crazy too to get married to him but then what else can she do what choices does she have 

Look he has given her the hosting job too as a gift 

Wow. But he of course is not going to tell her that he finds her interesting and for now he is attracted to her. All her attributes
