Was Dunki just a punjabi version of 3 Idiots ( SPOILERS AHEAD)

Saw the movie last night and it was kinda alright but what amazed me is that it looked like a ripoff from Hirani's own movie 3 idiots as there were way too much similarities such as -

- First scene of Tapsee fooling hospital staff to escape (3I Madhavan plane escape)

2. All friends being drunk scene (3I copy)

3. Suicide of Vicky and SRKs speech after that ( happened in 3I )

4. Boman Irani teaching resp for suicide ( same as 3I)

5. Separation and reunion of the friends group.

I still think the movie is a good one time watch but wonder if Hirani has no new ideas left ??

Dunki - SRK explaining good, better best as Wah wah, wah wah wah, wah waah waah waah 💀😂

Also the result scene was a copy.

scenes may have similarities but no one saw the depth DUNKI concept ....it was not about collage student .....it is based on Dunki routie and how dangerous this route is which helpless people take, to provide better future to their family , i dont think upto now anyone has raised this concept in films its first time .....

3 idiots didn’t even gave the message what it supposed to give. “If you can’t do engineering, leave it”

The Punjabi movie Aaja Mexico Chaliye was on the same concept and was really well done. I haven't seen Sunkinyet so can't compare both movies,.though.
