I loved Munna Bhai MBBS. So when the remake was planned with Chiranjeevi I wasn't interested in watching it. But recently I watched Shankar Dada MBBS. It was hugely entertaining. Chiranjeevi with his excellent comic timing added his own touch to the story.

Pathan , Jawan and Animal...teeno ne tabah kar ke rakh diya tha....ab Dunki ki opening dekh kar jaan mein jaan aayi meri....Thankyou Dunki...

I think Prabhas is a pan India superstar. His Adipurush had takers in the north.

RRR had Kjo promoting the film for Hindi.They went all out.

The film had Alia,with the biggest BO pull and Ajay Devgn to woo Hindi audience.

Not to mention the hit song/dance Naatu Naatu.

It was a solo release-It opened at 19 crs with many more screens.

Salaar has no songs, no Hindi promotions, got a bad deal in clashing with superstar SRK.It opened at 15.5 crs.

I think it is the second highest worldwide opening after Baahubali 2 for any Indian film.

BB2 had 10 cr footfalls ..5 of which was from Hindi belt. He connected then. He has an enviable fanbase.
