A decade ago, marriages were mostly arranged, also in the last decade and currently but more love marriages now as women become financially independent. Most of the couples in arranged marriages will a few qualities in their partner which they cannot tolerate but have to accept it or ignore it and move on after children are born, that is the norm of Indian arranged marriages. And mostly, wives who were uneducated would be ignorant of many things and husbands would have the upper hand. Does that mean, like Jayesh, they go about divorcing their wives, imagine how many divorces we would have had then

well, when you've already left, you can't find anything to hold on to, makeup and under-eye circles get stuck? And don't you think that they work intensively every day and may be overtired, lack of sleep, etc. After all, they don't just appear and disappear at her place. Maybe that's just it such make-up to make you look sad, tired and nervous.

I was busy with my work so I saw yesterday and today's episode today morning and if I am not wrong Ahuja's were having Cocktail party right. As social media sites stating it as engagement party . Also impressed with new promo of Bhavani and Jayesh Divorce . Also like Ammu giving back to Rajeev. Sriti was outstanding in that scene. Hope now atleast they understand what we wants to see and move the story in that direction.

Think they are aware of this. Was pleasantly surprised the 'humiliaton' scenes were minimal. had thought they will drag at least an ep trying to do it. Do hope it continues in the next function. Loved Ammu-Rajeev scene... Love to see Amruta doing what Pragya almost never did... (yup. still have that hangover which in this case helps cause it makes the scene even better).

The Chitnis side of story was good and Amruta's scenes in the Ahujas' party

Babita keeps boasting about her wealth, but the Ahuja family's choice of dresses,color, jewelry looked so gaudy, no sophistication at all, not at all pleasant except for Amruta in that white dress. It is all this and the entire clan wanting to enjoy all the time is what is not making the Ahujas a serious package, need more seriousness in individual characters for them to appeal to us when shown independent of the Chitnis.

Virat feeling emotional about his sister but did he do any background research on Rajeev, that should be his responsibility. Virat needs to be shown more strong and shrewd. He seems to show his strength only with Amruta and Shekar

Yes. I feel they realised showing Ammu weak will not go well with the audience so they changed the plot n humiliation restricted to minimum with a twist of her emerging stronger. Let's hope they do not let down us with Ammu character graph .

Part of it seems to be because of this requirement in itv that the required exposé cant happen until the end of the 6th phera. Can imagine Amruta entering the scene just then with 'ruk jao... ye shadi nahi ho sakti' waking everyone up from their slumber. Else there are enough clues available for people to check what's going on - esp Virat, Dad, and Shekhar. Was expecting Shekhar to talk to Virat in the latest ep about what Ammu said to him. but didnt happen.

Had read this about movies 'If there is a gun shown in the beginning, it should be used in the movie'. The itv version would be, if there is a rishta going on, it should go on till the end of 6th phera - then depending on who it is between, end it there or complete the 7th.

Lets see if they do it any differently. Can happen because the rishta isnt between the leads.

They have not evolved Ahuja's characters yet they just decked up in designer clothes and having party flaunting their wealth that's it. So first they will have to develope their character graph for audience to connect with them. Chitnis family characters are written well audience can feel connect with them . Ahuja's discussion topic also is just how to trouble Ammu that's it. Now we are in the fourth week of the show still not development in their characters.

South Delhi rich influential socialite business families (which Ahuja's boast about verbally) have some class, sophistication & respect, whether they are shown as loud Punjabi's or not which is unfortunately NOT visible onscreen for viewers to absorb & connect, whether in characters/situations/scenes/dialogues/styling from 1st week till 4th week of KMTMG.

Same goes with Shekawat's..

Shekar is an important character of a childhood friend cum secretary who is not from rich background. Casting could have been better to show some youthfulness & proper comedy timing, as same age aide to Virat.

Even if Ahuja's with Shekar & Shekawat's are sent back to Delhi for couple days for some shopping or function, feel Chitnis story in A block can comfortably run in Mumbai with more relatable plots to engage viewers with other A block working class characters.

Plus KMTMG creatives & writers may get some time off to rework on character sketches & plots involving Ahuja's, to make corrective changes once they are shown returning to Mumbai to their lavish pent house in B block. What say?

Arre, maybe you have spoken too soon.. the waiter scenes are still pending right? There, maybe there will be more humiliation. Unfortunately, I would have even sympathised with Nimrit, given how Rajiv’s family broke the engagement, but even after Amruta was forced to fall in front of Rajiv, still the sadist and her family want to humiliate Amruta even further. She deserves all that’s happening! Ugh! Don’t talk about Pragya and humiliation scenes. That’s what led me to stop KKb once and forever.

Possible. But looking at their rather lame plan, seems like making her the waiter is the next big plan. There is a dance with Virat too - which reminded me of one such plan in kkb. Do expect Rajiv to do something. Also possible that she will talk to Nimrit, which may not go well. Did feel as if they may have edited out some scenes from the ep - but in their dialogues at the end the Ahujas didnt mention anything else too.
