I don't think it's about guts (If so, he would have kept Abhira secretly in a private house and acted as if he is unmarried). Daadi saa kept her family structure like that. They are not a normal family after all.

They're telling the future like both the bahus entered in poddar house again with dadisa's permission in their husbands' arms

He wanted to keep Abhira safe .. that’s what Akshara had demanded from him that yuvraj will stay away if she the acknowledged bahu of a well known family .. if he keeps her in a separate house and acts unmarried.. it totally taints her and exposes Abhira as a kept woman .. it would be safer to send her out of country maybe USA UK to study further hidden from yuvraj
