Imagine taking a drastic step against your will to protect someone that actually ends up snatching that very person from you and taking him so far that no matter how hard you try, you cannot bring them back/say sorry/tell them why you did what you did/make things right. You have to keep it inside, let it suffocate you every day, grieve alone and... suffer alone.

That's some heavy guilt there.

She has felt that for so long. That's what makes this reunion interesting. Deva doesn't know that. He thinks she doesn't care.

I still remember the glimmer of hope in her eyes when she had realised Mr. Mallik was Deva after that Ice factory incident.

This actually sounds so sweet. Tara has really longed for Dev for too long. The fact that he hates her doesn't matter to her. The fact that he is here to take revenge from her doesn't matter either. Yes he doesn’t know she hasn’t moved on and still deal with the pain and guilt behind that smile. Yes she was broken yet again when she thought Mr.Malik isn’t Deva..
