Arjun is being over emotional!! He knew althrough that Tara loves Deva.. Then why keeping such expectations?
What I feel Deva was indefinite of how to punish Tara, as he was hurt and angry, when he took the 7 days ultimatum. The more he is witnessing Tara and Arjun"s normal friendship... He is getting irked. He is thinking how can she be so casual when he is in so much pain...He is not trying to understand that Tara since she had lost him have learned to gulp her sorrow and conceal her pain. Tara hides it effortlessly, This is a very typical Indianized feminine quality. Deva cant. Deva is trying hard, and his pain is coming out in the form of anger and insult. He had gone crazy.. So he had assumed Tara"s happiness lied in getting married to Arjun... So within 24 hours he might thought that he would snatch her happiness by forcedly marry her. Now after what he said to Tara regarding her father had made her angry with him... So i am oresuming even if used the trump card of promise... It is gonna be a hate marriage.

The moment he saw Arjun Tara together he called her immediately in the pretence of work. Today he crossed all limits when he mentioned about Tara's father death. Tara has lost all her hopes right that moment. Tara is right at her place. Actually Deva never tried to understand from Tara's POV.
Again Arjun is gloating about His and Tara's marriage. He gave him ultimatum of 24 hours .
Don't know what is cooking in his mind. But it's definitely something to destroy Tara's marriage with Arjun.

Deva is very possesive. He is the one who saved her father lend his car, sent him hospital. As u pointed very rightfully, he is complex and really loses his sanity in anger. For once if we kept this Triangle thing aside.. He was very rude to Arjun as well. What he does... is due to his anger. He is unaware of Tara"s years long waiting, her gulit and her love. Aaj toh clear kar hi ho giya ki Tara Deva se pyar karta hai and even Arjun knows that. Deva wants her undivided attention, undivided care, love and even friendship. Agar Arjun ko sach pata hota toh shayed woh dono ko ek karne ki koshish karta. Aur Tara ko toh Deva ki reality ka ehesas hai but saboot nhi hai.. This unaware situation is the main reason of complexity. Now I doubt even if Arjun come to know that Malik is Deva.. He will ever tell her or not!
