SRK and Rekha - romantic pairing onscreen

Should SRK and Rekha do a mature love story and a romantic picture together? If Amitabh Bachchan and Tabu could be paired together in Cheeni Kum, why not the gender inverse with SRK and Rekha?

I have always felt that in their public appearances, SRK and Rekha have had great romantic chemistry with a sexual tension that is perhaps not evident when he is paired with younger actresses.

I did not realize that there is only an 11 year age difference between SRK and Rekha. They are closer in age than SRK and Deepika.

You should watch Army (1996). SRK's role is technically a special appearance but this was the only romantic onscreen pairing between Sri and SRK. I wish they had done more movies together and they probably would have had she not retired one year later.

Even though their scenes/songs are all flashbacks, I thought they had great romantic chemistry together. The movies shines when it focuses on them or Sri.

Rekha and Akshay already did so yes why not. However I love her chemistry with Sallu more.
