They wouldn't have kept him at the pedestal if in the first nomination task of Dimag room, they hadn't messed up by putting Tehelka in danger. They took Abhishek's name out of their personal hatred rather than thinking strategically which Vicky wasn't agreeing to. When Vicky told them that they could have taken some weak contestant's name rather than a strong one like Abhishek - so that Tehelka could be saved and weak one could be eliminated. They realised Vicky was being right in saving Tehelka and also realised that Vicky has the brains which they lack, that's how they started worshipping him because somehow they realised that they need his brain to play the game till the time they are in dimag room.

from what i understand his ego would be bruised if someone doesnt agree to him. Ankita aur uska hi case le le. I want someone to atleast calmly and technically disagree with him, he manipulates well thats his strength though.also the way vicky plays it is tough to confront him coz he doesnt do in a malicious way ⌠he doesnt shout or yell.. doesnt pick fights unnecessarily .. if at all he is exposed he has no qualms to admit it .. so even if contestants understands this there is no way to counter it ..
