I don't remember ever watching a more shocking trailer
I don't think I can watch it again..
Ranbir has outdone himself. I couldn't look away from him. Rashmika mumbles so much..didn't like her but I guess it doesn't matter.
Bobby was great too..the last scene
One thing that put me off is Anil Kapoor. I didn't like him in the teaser and I don't like him in the trailer. He looks baffled by Ranbir in every scene. As if he is stunned by his son's obsession with him..arey kitna stun and astonish hoge..
Overall, I'm in a daze.
I agree. Anil paled in comparison. In fact Bobby had a stronger presence.
Rashmika is so so pretty but she mumbles and her dialogues are inaudible. Disappointment.
As a fan, I am so proud of him. He is finally playing a completely dark character and Nailing it.
Go for it RK!!

Normalizing in the sense that in the end RK’s character will be rewarded and that’s not far fetched given who the director of the film is and his promise to the audience after they complained about Kabir Singh. The message becomes “it’s all normal” when characters like that are rewarded instead of consequences of their actions or bad decisions and I believe that’s what people are referring to. I don’t usually take motivations from bad characters but we can’t deny there are impressionable minds who might end up watching this film and taking inspiration from it. The director himself promised that’s his he’s going to be worse with this film. He went on Tv to say “if you don’t hit your woman you must not love her” when people complain about the violence against women in that film so I don’t blame people who are wary of what he might do or say to justify RK’s character. I’m not holding my breath for him to tell people not to take this seriously and that’s it’s only for entertainment. I know he will do the complete opposite of that like he did with Kabir and that’s where the issue lies. The guy is a scumbag.
You put it better than I did. I feel the same way that he just created Animal out of spite for all the critics of Kabir Singh.
That'd be AMAZING.Originally posted by: Petrichor80

Vanga might be a scumbag
Kabir Singh was a problematic character
Animal could also be a problematic character / is very well a problematic character …and the name of the film and what I saw in the trailer pretty much is aware of that….ranbir is not a hero here…he seems like a needy whiny guy with daddy issues that sets the world on fire …so it’s not meant to be normal …
Having said that, I’m not just gonna assume good cinema is cinema that shows bad things happening to bad people and good things happening to good people
The world is more layered and twisted than that and it’s a very narrow way of judging a film, imo…
This isn’t kindergarten where there is a moral to every story…some stories just exist to engage not to teach …u use your sense to takeaway what u need to as an adult …or take away nothing and just be entertained for 3 hours …
The dark knight literally showed the joker winning and Batman fleeing after taking on an accusation that wasn’t even his…that’s not giving people a licence to become psychos or vigalantes …

The B Praak song…everyone is praising it and it’s catchy but that tune is so so familiar. Where is it from?? It’s bugging me! Or maybe his songs all sound similar to me now 🤷🏻♀️
Chitta Kukkad
Now this trailer proves that Bobby's character is mute in the film. He didn't have any dialogues
im a rk fan now!!! this is next level

You're onto something here.
Remember Rashmika in the trailer says to RK, "You're fighting ghosts in your head".
If that turns to be the actual twist, then this could actually shape up to be a really well made movie.
