I think Anil killing him would have more of an emotional impact. I can't see that happening tho.

The film is literally called animal as in “inhumane” …and people are still like “omg normalising violence and holding ur wife’s neck”…
Yes if being inhumane is normal …sure
Most characters in the film are treating him with a sense of fear or disgust …so in what world is it conveying the message that this is all normal?
Ppl are still critiquing what they think vanga made based on his personal views, rather than what he actually made
I don't think animal is inhumane at all. In fact animal/animals are far better than most humans.
I never used the words normalising violence and holding your wife's neck, but if you think it is normalising violence then go ahead. I said I don't know any man who thinks this is normal. I should have said no man or woman will think it is normal. I brought up besharam rang specifically, because the ones outraged over besharam rang will not be outraged over that scene. They saw a few mins of besharam rang and called it "indecent" and "provocative" without watching the full movie too.
Well, I watched Kabir Singh, so I am judging Vanga based on his previous work too. The man already set the expectation that he is going to make this character even more violent than Kabir Singh at least he is honest in that regard.
Is Bobby’s character real or is he Ranbir’s alter ego being shown only to the audience? Or Ranbir’s imagination of a dangerous enemy that doesn’t really exist?
Normalizing in the sense that in the end RK’s character will be rewarded and that’s not far fetched given who the director of the film is and his promise to the audience after they complained about Kabir Singh. The message becomes “it’s all normal” when characters like that are rewarded instead of consequences of their actions or bad decisions and I believe that’s what people are referring to. I don’t usually take motivations from bad characters but we can’t deny there are impressionable minds who might end up watching this film and taking inspiration from it. The director himself promised that’s his he’s going to be worse with this film. He went on Tv to say “if you don’t hit your woman you must not love her” when people complain about the violence against women in that film so I don’t blame people who are wary of what he might do or say to justify RK’s character. I’m not holding my breath for him to tell people not to take this seriously and that’s it’s only for entertainment. I know he will do the complete opposite of that like he did with Kabir and that’s where the issue lies. The guy is a scumbag. The film is literally called animal as in “inhumane” …and people are still like “omg normalising violence and holding ur wife’s neck”…

WTF ?? Are you serious??? What a douchebag
I don't follow this director....I haven't watched Shahid wala movie...just bits and pieces here and there....although I do remember pages after pages of discussion going on in the forum......I hope they do show the character of Bira's karma hit him in the end......and they don't pull a KANK where the cheaters were rewarded in the end.......
Anyways I am very excited to watch this because of my Bira and his acting which looks like beyond amazing in the movie.....like I said before also that I might end up not liking the movie ...I don't like violent movies....but still watch it if it has my favorites in it...
But Vanga serious needs help if he thinks that hitting a woman means that the man loves her....thankfully they have rated it as adult movie ...
I don’t think it’s fair or kind to compare a film to real people’s relationships and experience especially when we only know what we heard of the said people. We see a fragment of celebrities lives it’s not fair to assume we know everything. Whatever their relationship may have been when Ranbir was growing up from what we know they were close when Rishi passed and that’s all that mattered to them at least. How I wish we will refrain from writing something about celebrities we would never say to people we know in real life. I don’t believe anyone would say to a friend a bad relationship reminded me of you and your parents. That’s just not a kind thing to say to someone especially if their father had passed. I know I’m risking coming off like I’m preaching people but still had to say what I thought of.

During an interview with Film Companion, Sandeep Reddy Vanga had justified the protagonists hitting each other in the film by calling it ‘their expression of love’. He had said, “When you are deeply in love and deeply connected to a woman (and vice versa), if you don’t have the liberty of slapping each other, then I don’t see anything there. She slapped him without a reason, at least Kabir had a reason to slap her. If you can’t slap, if you can’t touch your woman wherever you want, if you can’t kiss, I don’t see emotion there.”
Yes, even though the audience turned up for the movie and clearly enjoyed some people were upset about the ending and that backlash didn’t sit well with this guy so he came with if you don’t hit your woman evidently it’s cause you don’t love her 😳😳🤣. After the backlash persisted he promised he will come back with more violent and crazy character than KabirOriginally posted by: blue-ice.1

Of course you go enjoy the hell out of the movie for Bira. It’s fictional after all and people really shouldn’t take aspiration from reels even though unfortunately that happens but we really can’t blame or stop creators for making films of all kinds until when they try to justify it.
Why do I feel like RK's character is the one who shoots the father? He seems to be have a very deranged obsession with the father and have severe daddy issues emanated from the dad never loving him?!
He shot the dad subconsciously and does not realize it.
