Yeah seems to be attention grabbing and fodder for needless controversey. He's done this before Arjun Reddy release too you know. He released kissing workshop sequences between Vijay and Shalini much before the trailer. It was just bizarre because the set had only men and there was laughing and in between Vanga was teaching how to kiss and Shalini looked like a scared deer about to bolt.

Vanga seems crazy. I watched his interview with Masand and I found it strange how eager he was to make a character even more violent than Kabir Singh. I remember reading about the besharam rang controversy in the news and reading all about values/principles in the news when it comes to the bikini, but the main character grabbing his wife's neck is normal? What happened to values/principles to those who were outraged over Besharam rang?

I don't know any man that thinks above is normal. Every man I have known seems to be aware of their own strength.

I just find it hilarious when someone wearing a bikini causes more outrage than above

Full credit to Ranbir that he appears to have grabbed her carefully, but in reality there are many women who die in situations like this in India.

Why do you think people take this as normal.......the character if shown as negative and meeting his fate in the end will be normal.....but negative characters should be played....right? How else will movies be made??

Like SRK in Darr was a stalker, psycho and maniac....but he was killed in the end......no one said that it was a normal character....

Yes if they justify a man doing that to his wife.....there should be an outrage......but that is left to be seen.....Besharam rang controversy was just stupid...

I've never seen anybody aspire to be SRK's character in Darr. I've seen people appreciate his acting, and rightfully so, but never saw a man want to be a stalker and scare a girl because he was inspired by Shahrukh's character. That's where the difference lies. Shahrukh's acting or rather the screen play and direction was such that you knew his character was bonafide crazy. That doesn't seem to be the case for Vanga's characters. People are influenced by the alpha male syndrome after watching his movies.

What he does in Animal is yet to be seen. I like that Anil's character is bewildered by his son's actions and says that son is a criminal. He might just be the conscience that Arjun Reddy/Kabir Singh lacked.

Such are the ways of the world. Vanga has a God complex. He has also positioned himself as the provocative filmmaker who shows s*x, gore, violence, alpha male syndrome in his movies. He outdoes it everytime to maintain that position. He's in a good place now because audiences are lapping this up at the moment. His luck would run out soon when one of his movies would bomb at the BO.

Rashmika's character being "wife banana tha, therapist naam chuki" for 3 hrs😅

I love the action bit, but papa paapa sunke nore Hui, like Kabir singh kaa obsession Preeti thi, iska pappa hai.

RK looks cool though, his acting is amazing.
