its one of the reasons, we couldn't put up may be few more runs on the board. I envy teams who bat upto 9 & 10, our 2003 WC was same mold, even 2011 team. Our lower order can even hit a 6 without breaking sweat, proper wild slog like most other team tailenders do say like Shaheen. Zaheer & Srinath were of same mold, just blindly slog using their arm power if we needed some quick runs smiley36

Around 6rpo for 8 overs they had to maintain and they won

Back then playing 6rpo even an death overs was slightly tough

Yaa they did...bhaji was decent with the bat too..

But now tails batting is horrible....india has the worst tail...too many specialists...

Rohit had to stop bowling due to back issues. I remember Virat from his U19 WC final clipping - the one they used to put up when a new batsman arrived to crease. He claimed to be a batting all rounder & his favorite player was Ricky Ponting - both have same brash attitude on the field smiley36

Heard how much struggle he did to come here.

But Rohit's obsession with forcing him to play ODI, when he couldn't is just giving him hate.

Zaroori nahi everyone can play all formats greatly, no need to spoil his T20 career, he is already 33.

Zyada yrs bhi nahi hain, khelne do usko in that format he is doing well.

Earlier i thought he would shake the odi zone too but really he bas been a big disappointment...i dont even blame rohit because looking at his 20 20 exploits, anyone would assume that he vud rok in the slog overs in odis too but unfortunately he looks out of sorts mostly....even struggles to stay on the crease to create any trouble for the opposition...i also love him...i was rooting for him in the final n wanted to see him play the best knock of his life... Big disappointment

I liked his careless approach... sometimes he played bery authentic shots too but he wasnt consistent or had a proper technique but entertaining to watch ⌚
