Not sure if it's an unpopular opinion, but I couldn't sit through Chatterjee. In fact, I haven't enjoyed a Rani movie since 2010, lol. I think people praise her because she's grown into this inevitable talent, and folks would think she's great no matter what she does. Good for her, but personally, I'm not that fond of her serious cinema she has been doing for over a decade now. In Chatterjee, the first half, I feel she overacted in a few places. Anyway, my vote goes to Nayanthara.

Deepika was cameo, not leading role. And Pathaan was not a meaty role. So not her.

Rani hammed a lot in Ms Chatterjee.

Such piss poor performances this year

Alia was decent in RARPK tho

My fave lead performance this year is Aishwarya in PS2. Sheer delight watching her doing justice to such a complex role.

It should be Rani but Nayanthara ko milega
