I used to wonder the same, most shows I watched in childhood, they age with time (same actress) even after the kids are in their 20s. Even S1, Hina stayed till their children was 20s and left when she was no longer the lead.

I thought directors and creatives inform in advance that they might have to age with the story progression. They don’t need to stay to be like grandparents but atleast stay to be parents

Actresses those days were very loyal. I might consider Ishita & Gopi since they maintained the young look. But Parvati & Tulsi slayed it.

They did it so well. If not 100%, they atleast donned 75% of the required look.

Actors and actresses don't want to age onscreen and play parents to people almost their age. Offcourse these same actors will play the role of parents onscreen , but at later stage of their career when left with no other choice with regard to getting roles.

From actor's point of view this is understandable , as they want to keep doing glamorous lead roles as long as possible but for the show its really bad any way , because this leads to character death or actor replacement. Character death saddens the audience while actor replacement leads to audience feeling disconnected.

yeah and when the actor is changed or killed, it’s hard for audience to connect. Killing the character often just changes the entire plot and story - I’ve always lost interest in shows once the characters were replaced or killed 😂

Definitely it works for their careers for the actors and actresses but doesn’t work for the show smiley36

See good post, the point is Rajan isn't able to focus on multiple storyline at the same time and focus on it.. Ekta kapoor is master in it. Given the examples Tulsi, Parvati and all , they each had their own storylines even leaps after leaps and not only that their kids, grand kids each individuals had their own storylines.. So why wouldn't Balaji actresses continue working post leap? Each one had author backed powerful role.. Even their kids, grandkids had amazing love stories and Balaji does explore multiple storylines.. Rajan shahi can't properly execute and handle one storyline properly.
