I don't understand why Deepika fans are spreading fake news but no where it's mentioned that Deepika is financing it. These 2 female telugu producers are financing it and no one else.

Bahubali worked without Deepika and content is the reason a movie works. Kalki2898 is a prestigious movie and the sole reason for its success or failure is its content not the superstarni, who counts money how much more she got than her husband.

That is not how South productions work.

Those two Telugu producers are stakeholders but Vyjayanthi films always has additional stars as stakeholders - in this case since Deepika has the principal role as the chosen one she will be heavily carrying her stake at least in the first movie, people in the South have estimated that it's around 60-80cr but that is just gossip and idk for sure.

Bahubali worked because of Rajamouli and Prabhas/Anushka Shetty - Anushka was the South's biggest female star then. Kalki has nothing to do with the massy film Rajamouli did there and there is a lot of lore. This is a sci-fi based movie like how Brahmastra was meant to be. Ashwin made Mahanati - one of the South's best female-led films and with Keerthy Shetty who basically does roles like Deepika.

NagAshwin, the director confirms these 2 as financers and there is no mention of superstarni and she was not even there in comic con n we have to believe she is some hot shot feminist producer based on gossip spread by cringens.

Again, not how South movies are produced. The decision is made by Vyjanti pictures, Nag Ashwin is speaking of the 2 financers because he is in a team with them two (they're financing his next too). They are two seperate things - this budget is huge.

SAG actors don't go during the strike to comiccon - Deepika didn't go for that reason because she's a part of SAG.

Welcome to the club. Fans of every hero hates Deepika being cast in their idol's film. Nothing new.This film will release..and fans can move on to the next film. Deepika and her fans are good at that.No single film is worth all the angst. There is always another film waiting.
