It was such a cruel episode, I am not sure what kind of sadistic person can write this. I am not sure what the point was, but it was completely obvious that they wanted to hurt viewers as much as possible.
First they gave Abhir's dream that was soo sad cause we already know it will not get done. We already know he is to die. I am so sad that Abhir never got to know Abhira, in a way his real parents died before he was born itself. Instead he got a traumatized mother and then later a much more traumatized father. So even in his dreams, Abhira have half smiles. Even in his dream, they are tired and detached from each other. But this is all Abhir has seen, so for him this is a happy family.
I loved the much more real scene of Abhira and Abhir in one bed. Abhi thought about all of the bad that has happened recently, and realized that this is not the right time for something like a shadi. So he told Ak not to worry about it. He continues to be so forward thinking. He said that they are already living together like a family. There is no need to marry. Instead they will give so much love and happiness to their kids that they will forget about stuff like wanting their parents to be married. Ak looked at him and thought about his love confession. I am not sure what the full meaning of this scene was. But to me it seems like she realized that Abhi was talking about the happiness of the kids but he wasn't thinking about his own happiness. Their happiness. Somewhere she realized that they both need to be together to be truly happy.
Next day they both get ready for the shadi. Ak asks him if he got the varmalas and Abhi cringes. He forgot. He tells her he has to go and do something quick and then he will pick up Abhir and come get her. She said she will go by herself. If she had chosen to wait, perhaps she would have been in the car with them. But she is choosing for the next part of her journey to be alone. To not wait for her betu and Abhi.
Ak remembers that they were not supposed to see each, it is apshagun. But Abhi consoles her that its alright, life has no more tests for them. Abhi goes to leave, but he feels like something is holding him back. Ak tells him not to worry and that she is happy. He takes a picture of Ak and leaves. Ak is giving him smile and waving goodbye. After Abhi leaves, Ak gets everything together and steps out of their house. She closes the doors of the house (maybe this is the last time we see this place ?). She feels like something bad is going to happen, but ignores the thought.
Abhi goes to get junior. Abhir is super happy learning about their wedding. Abhi is also happy. They go to the temple together. Ak video calls them right as they are leaving Ranikhet. Abhir tells her that he loves her, and dadda loves her too. Abhi immediately says yes, but then gets embarrassed. Ak had last chance to say something, even to say mumma loves you too, or anything at all. Instead she just smiled keeping her feelings inside. Abhi asked junior why he said that. Junior said its true right? and Abhi smiles yes.
Abhi and his son, both were the only two people in Ak's life who truly absolutely loved her and only her. Abhi said that he came into this life with the purpose of loving her and he fulfilled that purpose over and over again. His betu also was just as single minded in his love for Ak. Both of them were born to love her and have now died trying to reach her. Till the end she was just as stone hearted.
Manjari is shown realizing her mistake as well, that in trying to fight for Abhi, she ended up alienating him itself. She asks God to keep him safe, but this time God doesn't listen. Iss bar bhagwan ke ghar sirf andher hai.
They sequence after that is known. Ak learns about the landslide and runs from the temple. She almost slips and falls, but manages to hold onto durga mata's spear? She reaches the hospital and thinks that there can be no more trails in store for her. Its not possible after everything she has been through. And yet, she finds the list with Abhi and Abhir's names on it. They are dead. She imagines their spirits together bidding her a final goodbye. Abhir tells her that he loves her and will always love her. Abhi tells her that he always wished for his every evening to be with her, from the first to the last, and now we are at the last evening. He will love her beyond death.
