Immunity Pin Challenge

My heart broke for Suraj. Had he completed his dish, there’s no doubt he’d have won the immunity pin.

This challenge should’ve been easiest for Kriti and Suraj. Ironically both couldn’t complete their dishes. Maybe it was over confidence or wanting to be really good because they knew they’re bakers and should ideally make the best dish.

This was hard for Rukhsar and Md. Ashiq who did pretty well considering they’ve not cooked like that before.

I’ve never made macarons but my guess is it couldn’t be very hard, since almost everyone nailed it at atleast the second attempt. I always thought it was very hard. I was surprised that a lot of them didn’t get the chocolate sun right, seemed like the easiest part of the dish. Maybe they left it for too late.

I wish the macarons all had different fillings to make it a little more complicated. I also wonder why they were painting the macarons red, why not just add colour to the batter? Isn’t that easier?

Was I impressed by this challenge? Not really. It was a nice challenge but I’d have preferred them interchanging the overnight cooking with this one. Overnight cooking seemed more difficult than following a recipe. Purely my thinking

Feeling so so bad for Suraj everything was perfect, he just couldnt plate it all. It would have been Suraj who got immunity pin if he had done with plating uff

While it was a nice attempt by replicating the macaroons, but I do feel the overnight challenge was waay better than this one esp the Korean Turkey burgers by Suraj.

Coming to the overall challenge, the plating by Pooja was okay but I wasn't fully impressed.

I did like that Rukhsar paid less heed to the folks up in the balcony as she was focused on the immunity pin. Barring the chocolate spiral, it was really nice attempt. Mohammed also did a decent job

Will be honest, was interested in looking at Suraj's dish for sure. But, like you guys mentioned, time wasn't on his side. I hope he learns from and improves on working with time.

Nambi is just annoying and her sun cake was horrible looking. Kriti's just turned into an uninteresting contestant -- boring.
