Yeah. The issue is not Aarav having anger problems. Anyone would be sympathetic towards his struggles with mental health after what happened. He may not know everything but he did witness the devastation it caused. His grandfather is no more, his grandmother has relocated, his mother was hurt and somehow Robin was responsible. You can understand the anger, the resentment and even hatred, compounded by the fact that Katha has explained absolutely nothing to him to help him rationalise his feelings.
My problem is with how they're addressing his issues. Most of the time he is a normal kid, then you get one random bout of violence that seems more like a tantrum than anything else, and that gets Katha unnecessary panicky calling the doctor in a jiffy like he has some magical power. Why give some outsider, a doctor, so much control over your own child. Therapy takes time and progress is neither quantifiable nor linear. Sometimes you progress, sometimes you regress, some issues take time, some are easily resolved. Marrying your child's psychologist in panic in 6 months, thinking it'll solve your issues, is one of the most laughable excuses for third-angle entry itv has come up with.
Honestly it's not even Aarav's fault much. In none of the flashbacks till now has he been shown asking Katha to marry that guy. He may be the catalyst but it's all Katha's decision. She's the adult here, and it's her responsibility to decide for them both. Who would blame a kid for this? No responsible adult, especially not Viaan. Like he blackmailed his mother or something. You're saying you did it for Aarav? It's just an excuse, and frankly not a very convincing one.
Actually Aarav did say it to Katha. It was in the episode where Aarav was spraying on walls like a maniac. At the end, he was said to Katha "Abhi ke Abhi unke saath sab final karo" (referring to Raghav but, it was kept confidential to viewers). Still Aarav is not at fault. But, I would have liked him to make this remark w.r.t. losing another friend again. He already lost his Robin now, he is scared that he will lose Raghav too because he was missing because he was gone on a bussiness trip.
However, things are not shown which feel convincing. There are countless monologues of Viaan but, not for Katha and Aarav. Hence, all sympathy is going for Viaan as his POV is clearly explained to audience. but, we have to make it out from Katha's facial expressions as always.
Makers have been employing this strategy for a while of not showing Katha's monologue instead, letting her facial expressions speak for herself. I liked this approach because it allows them to change the meaning of facial expressions shown in that episode by showing something else in future episode without any loss of consistency. So, a great deal of flexibility for storywriters as well.
I know that they will give meaning to her expressions in upcoming episodes but, audience in general is losing its patience considering the weird turn story has taken.
Makers did this same thing with Maaya mausi and Teji as well. But, it made no sense. We never got to understand what she wanted. But, at the end, all of a sudden she was like "Aarav can't be rightful heir of Raguvanshi Empire" . This revelation felt a complete last minute addition because very little was shown by them to support this. Very little was shown that they can't tolerate Aarav as the rightful heir to Raghuvanshis. All this while, it was Teji's fear that Viaan will separate from her bcoz of Katha.
Makers have already goofed up real bad with this Not showing monologue and moulding the meaning of facial expressions in later episodes. So, a general loss of trust is also the reason for annoyance.
