I wasn’t calling him a small child. Kid is an American expression for anyone younger, in this case younger than Aamir and on the younger side, though he’s probably in his 30s now.

My older coworkers have called me kid at times. I’ve called 19-20-21 year olds kiddo. Both as a form of affection and endearment and not anything else.

He started as wanting to work behind the scenes. He was an AD on the set of PK. But eventually became interested in acting. Has done theater actually. He’s already shot for a war (or period drama) for YRF but I think he’s part of an ensemble cast. Now word yet on when it will release. He was supposed to star with Khushi Kapoor in a love story but movie got shelved. He also came close to getting cast as the main lead in LSC but it was hinted that everyone thought Aamir would be better for the business of the movie.
