Was this sudden switch of tracks always planned (quick marriage, KVG entry etc) ? Or is it the result of possible TRP pressure?

I can only guess, but it might be the latter.

AFAIK, ITV contracts tend to be 3-4 month rolling ones (roughly covers 100-120 odd episodes). Maybe SAB are dithering on the third renewal (which would probably kick in at 240-250 episodes) because they have other projects in the pipeline, and are asking D-T's makers to see if they can go to 0.7/0.8 or possibly accept a time switch/lower budget, and SSP may not be amenable to the latter?

I agree with this too. The budget is already scrapped if you look at the court initially and now. Same with size of the set.

I think Dhruv tara should shift to a later time as their competition has huge fan following and it’s hard to get the right TRP’s. Also, they aren’t keeping sone level or normalcy. Audience love Dhruv Tara but they want story and here they gave too much importance to Samrat due to his popularity and lost DT fans.

I want a track where we see how Dhruv Tara overcome adversity and no triangles and all that crap.

He did get exposed when Samrat was originally caught- confessed that Samrat had influenced him, and Sammy accused him of being a rat that deserted a sinking ship
