Finally the marriage is done and Ladka makes a dashing entry into the household. So we are now nearing the end of this track - of the marriage not happening between Agastya and Nyonika. Seriously feel like gifting gul some specs who couldn't see how handsome he is with his natural hair. With the wig she ruined the chances of Agastya and imlie making a good looking pair.
It was really nice of the team to add flashbacks in today's sequence during the maang bharoing sequence. Imlie never wanted a rich guy for herself but she definitely dreamed of someone who is kind and respectful to her and who is her pillar of support. She places high emotional value on marriage bond and that is why she stopped Agastya from filling her maang. But destiny has something else written for Imlie and that is why a drop of blood from Agastya does fall on her hairline making her his suhagaan. The sequence and the flashbacks were done really good - the chirpy Imlie does have dreams in her eyes. I really hope we do get a remarriage sequence in this show at least. Yes this sequence was very well done. She never wanted to disrespect the symbols of marriage but God had other plans. They got married during the Shubh muharat and he filled her maang wiht his blood. All her dreams for a husband will eventually be fulfilled by Agastya. I can't wait for his misunderstanding to get cleared and him to respect and value her. I loved the fact that in the end when the car breaks down, imlie helps him. She says that she will fulfill all her duties as a wife even though this is a sham marriage.
The whole back and forth between Annapurna, Sonali, Alka and Johari family was done well. Yes these kind of dialogues are needed to drive home the point that in India it is not 2 people who marry rather it is the families that are bonded in a relationship due to marriage. Yes it's a good balance when they show all characters and scenes logically. One thing I noticed was despite the circumstances there wasn't a lot of chillam challi happening like it does happen in other shows. Kafi dignified conversation tha that made it seem like mature adults speaking. I felt bad when dadi apologized to Nyonika for her tears. She even stopped others from badmouthing the girl which was good too.
Sonali was basking in happiness that the property is going to be hers but nope right at the correct moment, Agastya makes an entry by riding a bike nonetheless and takes the folder from her hands. The last visual of a smirking Agastya and a fuming Sonali was a nice treat. Sonali ke haath aaya niwala Agastya ne cheen lia. She was so excited to get all the property to her name by telling Dadi that Agastya isn't true to his word. The entry sequence was so good. I only wish someone in the team realizes how ugly that wig and the flying hair looks. It has taken out all the charm from Sai ke looks. I loved the bike sequence. He came in the nick of time like a hero. The smirk was so good and Sonali ka chehra dekhne layak tha. I love this sibling rivalry.
Sonali was thinking that Annapura is now not going to listen to Agastya but I feel Annapurna is going to give a chance to Agastya to explain his reasons. I guess Agastya is going to tell the reason why he had to leave Nyonika at the altar and then maybe the Johari's would also be satisfied and move on. I can't wait for the takkar that happens tomorrow. Yes she will allow him to explain his side of the story. I think the truth of her being in cahoots with Sonali will be disclosed and that's why Dadi will realise why he had to take this extreme step. This is also why the Johri family is still there in this place when the property transfer was happening. In all this Agastya didn't think Shaadi tootna may cause medical issues to dadi. Patha nai bahut risky move tha. Anyway glad kuch bura nai hua and he reached home in time. I also think he will lie about her profession and family to his entire family otherwise she definitely won't be accepted as she's not from their class and status. Kitna bhi deny karlo these things matter when it comes to a marriage.
In all of the episode, I absolutely loved the way Chacha - Chachi and Manno bua stood behind Agastya saying If Gattu is not here then he is definitely in some trouble. They totally believe agastya. Even the bua made sense when she said that Nyonika and Johari's are feeling bad so there is no need to disrespect them even further by washing the dirty linen out in public. Manno is quite sensitive to the pain the Joharis and Ammaji are going through. I feel these 3 are going to stand solidly with Agastya and Imlie. Also loved the way Mama and Dadda are there behind Imlie and most probably they are going to take care of Ashu in Imma's absence.
Yes his entire family loves and adores him. Everyone was worried about his safety when he didn't come. Sab family ke log talk very sensibly. His Chachu also pointed out that dadi forcing him to marry was one of the reasons he was under so much pressure. I'm happy while there's some toxic relationships, most of the family love Imlie and Agastya and they have a good support system.. most Itv shows may saare family members are only out to get the male and female leads. I hope they do show Ashu with Emma and his cashu. I love their scenes together.
And Ashu is now out of danger and conveniently he needs follow up treatment for the next 6 months so that will be the shackles that tie up Imlie and not allow her to leave Agastya as she needs money for the follow up checkups and treatment. And something tells me Mami and Bulbul will not be able to figure out where Imlie is until the very last moment. Yes she will keep needing the money which is why she wont be able to break off the contract despite how much ever trouble is being caused. I hope Mami and bulbul disappear from their lives. Can't take them anymore.
So now let's fasten the seatbelts. We are going to witness the journey of Imlie and Agastya becoming Mr and Mrs. Agastya Singh Chowdhary. Looking forward to the fireworks in tomorrow's episode.
I hope the show pics up speed after the reveal episodes. Next week se they should show movement in the story now that the wedding has already taken place.
