Obviously Manjari has gone too far with the abortion topic, but her fears and reasons are not wrong. She is just asking them to reconsider the wedding basically and step back which is what Ak is doing.

As for Abhir, I am sure they will show a conversation with Abhi at some point. Thing is that just won't help. Ruhi's issue was with Abhi not with Arohi. That time Abhi stepped back from the wedding. Ruhi was worried about losing Abhi. So Abhi explaining things to her both made her understand and dispelled her fears about Abhi. Here Abhir is afraid of losing his mother's attention. He has no real fear about losing Abhi cause he knows Abhi will always be there for him. So here it is up to Akshu to dispel his fears by showing him she is giving him priority. Like the science fair. That was a test by Abhir. Why couldn't she cancel the stupid pooja that day and say we can keep pooja for next day? She needs to put active steps to show Abhir she cares, which she doesn't do.

She did the same thing with Abhi also. When he felt she was prioritizing others, she never did anything actively to resolve his fears. She just kept doing what she wanted and then blamed him for not trusting her love. I don't think she can do the same thing with Abhir.

Look. The fact is that Abhi has always supported whatever he considered right and Manjari is heavily influenced by her emotions in which she sometimes goes too far. Suggesting abortion here is going too far and that is all Abhi is against.

Plus he is not only marrying for Abhir. He also wants to marry because he loves Ak. His relationship with her is extremely unbalanced and all of that is true. But he loves her and wants to take care of her. He wants to make up for his past mistakes of not taking care of her. It's impossible to look at this from his perspective cause yes, why would you keep loving someone who has given you soo much pain. But he does and this is what his love is.

He is not accusing Manjari because he is keeping his love over her though. He is accusing her because in this case she is wrong. Abortion is not the correct path here. Abhi has never chosen sides in conflicts between Manjari and Ak, and has always just tried to do the right thing. It's not about loyalty here, he loves them both.

Why do people keep saying Abhi should talk to Abhir- Abhi legit told Abhir that Mumma is weak now cause of the new baby, let’s let them get better and healthy then later we will think of marriage. He legit said marriage isn’t priority right now, it’s Mumma and baby and, Abhir showed that he understood. After todays outburst, Abhi himself is confused how to handle this because this is not about Abhir getting insecure about his love, this about Abhir being insecure about Akshara’s love for him and Akshara should explain because it would look even worse if Abhi tries to explain Mumma cares for you because Abhir can be like why are you explaining this, why isn’t Mumma explaining if she cares for me.

Also, Roohi explained that both of his parents love him. Then Abhir was if you cry, Maasi and your Poopy will come running to you then Roohi was like your parents will come if you cry. Then Abhir right away was like no, Mumma won’t come because she will be with new baby who will be crying. See how he agrees his Dada will come but not Mumma. So Akshara needs to properly sit down with him and explain that he is her son and always will be, that she loves him and the new baby is also his sibling and she will love them both equally like how Roohi and him are loved by everyone equally. If she needs help, she can have Abhi with her also. Abhi alone can’t explain to Abhir that his mom loves him- we saw Roohi try that.

Destiny has put akshara in the same situation again. First time It was Abhi and now abhir. Both father and son are same, they loved akshara unconditionally and she was always their priority, In return they expect the same. But akshara always choose others above them. With abhimanyu she can say he is not trusting her love and fight with him. But her real test comes in the form of abhir. Even if abhimanyu tries to make him understand the situation it will not make any difference to abhir and akshara does not know what to do with Abhir. Abhir is a little boy he does not have the same tolerance as abhimanyu. Abhir may soon do something drastic.

Abhir knew both his parents well. He knew Abhi loves him unconditionally and do anything for him. That is why he asked abhimanyu to let him go to akshara and nav. But if he had same trust on akshara 's love is still a question. The boy believed when Ak and nav said that he is a burden. With the science fair incident akshara is cementing his insecurity.

Why will Abhi have to explain this? Ruhi was insecure cause her Poppy started giving attention to Abhir. So her Poppy sat her down and explained to her that she will also always be his priority, he loves them both equally and she should be happy to have now gained a brother who will love her and protect her. She understood that Poppy will love her the same even if he doesn’t marry Aarohi.

Here, Abhir is insecure because he thinks Akshara will love the baby more than him and she will eventually sideline him, his needs and his wish to get them married. So it’s Akshara’s job to explain to him that she will always love them both equally. She is the one who is not willing to marry. So she should be the one to explain this to him. But Akshara is just feeding into his insecurities with her behavior. She is not trying to understand where he’s coming from at all.

She was a mahaan sibling always sacrificing for Aarohi. Her family was okay with it. Maybe she expects Abhir to do the same thing and everything will be okay. But that’s not how it works. And as a mother, to even think that way is very disturbing.

I have been asking this question since the leap began. Nothing makes any sense wrt Abhi. They showed us so much love and respect between Abhira. I don't think he ever disrespected her, but maybe he didn't accept her the same way he accepted Neil or Manjari. He was more affected by her and often had more expectations. Yeah, but the whole narrative has been rewritten. They showed us a beautiful albeit trauma filled relationship and then they said it was umar kaid. They showed us Abhi only wanting what's good for Ak, and yet Ak acted as if he was some big villain set to destroy her life. They showed Abhi really trying to coparent and yet he was ultimately blamed for custody. They showed us Abhi being a good parent, yet no one wanted to recognize it. At every point it's been like this.

I am not sure why this is happening. It seems like there are two separate storytellers here. One for Abhi and one for Akshnav and the others. And there is no real communication between them. I do wonder if this is the effect of HC having a say in his character. Like he may have said no to doing something's and that led to the narrative being fragmented. But it almost seems planned this way, cause they keep putting both Abhi and Akshnav in similar situations and Abhi always comes out performing better. Even in the situations where they try to show Akshnav as better, the circumstances still favor Abhi. That's why I feel gaslit by the show.

I think this is exactly what Manjari has been trying to say. That for AK it’s all about the baby. He/she is going to be her center of attention she doesn’t even care about abhir well being forget Ab. So it’s better that she gives it a good thought. There is no need to get married. Or she fixes herself. I mean we all know till it suits her purpose the baby will be important. Based of situation she will be mahaan but she isn’t really going to bother caring for the baby just like Abhir. Nav took care of Abhir earlier and AB will take if the new one. She would yell at Nav as she pleased and make his dance now it will be AB. Only since she had hidden stuff from Nav she couldn’t compare or say anything. But with AB since nothing is hidden she will use every small thing to demean him and compare.

so true. This is why, the moment they clarified she had actually moved on, I immediately wanted Abhi to be dead. It's not because of her moving on nor because of her lack of realisation ( I was still waiting for it at this point), it was because of how it brought into perspective what her actions truly meant on what she did to Abhi. It was not defence of her family, Infact the family was just a spawn, it was her spite. And nobody should have a partner with that characteristic. She will use him and make him a living corpse. And Abhir will blame himself for forcing the marriage. Both of them are too good for her. As much happy as we are that she is saying no, we can also see it was a show off and packed with arrogance rather than careful consideration of the two people that she was going to make a family with. So once she will have fill of the arrogance, she will go back to saying yes. Wow, what a person.

@bold: This is actually something I had not thought of myself. Abhir is not like Ak, and as he grows up he may actually notice how his parents relationship is. He would be put back into the shoes Abhi was growing up of having to defend a parent to the other parent. But he might feel even more guilty cause he asked them to be together in the first place. Abhi will try everything to not let him see this, but if this is plain as day to everyone else, it will be to Abhir as well.
