Why is she wrong?? She doesn't want her son to be friendzoned by Akshara like the way she did to abhinav!!! There's is nothing wrong in that. As she is going through the wedding only for abhir, she can make him understand. But the problem is she is like a creeper, she herself need a man in her life. Isiliye she isn't taking a stand!!!

Akshara and Abhinav didn't care about any "truth". They wanted to ensure the Abhir picked them by manipulating him and it worked. There is no maturity in building your "family" on lies. She lived with a man she didn't love and accepted him after being told to do so by your family. It took her seven years to move on from Abhi and months to remarry Abhi. From my perspective, that's not love she settled because of the sunk cost of the six years she invested into her dosti/marriage, which her family constantly reminded her of.

@bold Akshara was in love with her bad jija from the beginning and wanted to be his wife lol. In fact, I remember she was romancing him on Arohi's mandap the very next day.

The same makers glorified child abuse and paternity fraud so I don't have any expectations. So, let's agree to disagree. Everyone has different taste and perspectives.

Abhir's situation is worse than what Ruhi's was. Both were struggling with their mom's marriages not happening.

Are they trying deliberately trying to show Abhi was a better parent all along. Why give so much material to say so if not. Or is all this accidental!!

He has asked AK to think and let him know her decision. If she says no I am sure he will try to make Abhir understand. At this point even he isn’t clear about the marriage. I have been asking this question since the leap began. Nothing makes any sense wrt Abhi. They showed us so much love and respect between Abhira. I don't think he ever disrespected her, but maybe he didn't accept her the same way he accepted Neil or Manjari. He was more affected by her and often had more expectations. Yeah, but the whole narrative has been rewritten. They showed us a beautiful albeit trauma filled relationship and then they said it was umar kaid. They showed us Abhi only wanting what's good for Ak, and yet Ak acted as if he was some big villain set to destroy her life. They showed Abhi really trying to coparent and yet he was ultimately blamed for custody. They showed us Abhi being a good parent, yet no one wanted to recognize it. At every point it's been like this.

I am not sure why this is happening. It seems like there are two separate storytellers here. One for Abhi and one for Akshnav and the others. And there is no real communication between them. I do wonder if this is the effect of HC having a say in his character. Like he may have said no to doing something's and that led to the narrative being fragmented. But it almost seems planned this way, cause they keep putting both Abhi and Akshnav in similar situations and Abhi always comes out performing better. Even in the situations where they try to show Akshnav as better, the circumstances still favor Abhi. That's why I feel gaslit by the show.
