What if Alia had done Chhapaak? - Page 3

Chhapaak would have worked at the boxoffice if it would not have that lack luster empty screenplay and a confused below the par direction and a superficial lacking performance by the lead , even if it had clashed with any movie.

It's been observed time and again that both films can work very well despite any clash if they r well made and we'll performed.

dil Ghayal, rj ghatak, gadar lagaan and recently gadar 2 and an offbeat omg2 are the prime examples.

So a clash with Tanha ji or whatever is another lame excuse.

The history proved many times that clash can not be the case of one film flopping and the other succeeding at the box office.

(few examples given above).

She would have gotten Oscar against Meryl streep.

I didn't write about a clash but about the boycotting...

but as I wrote, you have your opinion about the movie, I've mine...we simply disagree...so what?

They were nominated for best actress Oscar the year Chappak would have been eligible.

Chhapaak would have become ATBB. Aloo would have got NA long back, Kriti ke saath share karna nahi padta. Deepu ki paise bach jaate, ye topic nahi hota, hum yahan comment nahi karte…..

It wasn’t a story for the faint hearted. I could never even watch the trailer. It’s so sad and scary. If we are not able to watch a fictional story on the topic, can you imagine the plight of the real life victims who are forced to live this for no wrong of theirs? And to think the perpetrators are not given a death sentence for such a horrific crime.

If Alia acted in the movie, kjo would have been the producer. The hype of her being the best thing since the slice of bread would have been proclaimed.

Kjo would have shouted and screeched from rooftops and made sure so that no one can escape hearing how Alia was the first big heroine to be “seen with a scarred face ” and how she is beyond superb. Kjo s nepo babies would have fan girled over Alia so that karan would cast them in some movie.

Also the hype created by KJo and PR would be so much that people would have been confused on whether Chapak was a hit or flop. Such would be the chatter that most people would think it’s a success.

Plus, Alia would have won a national award too.
