Minimizing her visits to Shah house is a decision Anupama should have taken from her own conscience... She should have enabled and continuously pushed her kids to become independent professionally and even more in their personal lives.. That includes asking Kinjal the same. Just because Kinjal sings her praises does not mean, she is better than the rest. She is inefficient, unskilled, and not dependable just like Pakhi or Toshu.. Even worse as she does it while masquerading as an angel...

Anuj asking Anupama to do all this will have no impact... It did not have any impact earlier. And he had not banned her visits, he had only asked her to do what's absolutely necessary... Little did he know that anything related to Shah are of ultimate urgency... Suppose he musters the courage and become Vanraj 0.5 (lets have realistic expectations from him ) and asks Anupama to completely cut off from Shahs, I see only two plausible scenarios unfolding :-

a). Some random lost character like Kanta, Devika or Bhavesh will come back and gaslight him about restraining an Orat from exercising her free will and restricting her movement and as a result stopping an Orat's udaan...

b) Anupama haath jod ke, pair pad ke, ya phir Suri bol ke, bheek mang ke SH chali jayegi... Waise bhi funda simple hai... Jahan Bhashan se kaam na chale wahan bheek maang lo ...

Reminded me of the book, “The twentieth wife” by Indu Sundaresan. This one is the 1st part of trilogy, about Noor Jahan also called the Taj Trilogy. Fantastic book!

Your comparison seems close enough. NoorJahan was an epitome of beauty, we can’t say the same about the FL of this show.
