Kajol in Lust Stories 2. One of the greatest acting.

Has anyone watched Lust Stories 2 on Netflix? That final scene was like witnessing some top-notch acting from Kajol. She has always been great but that was one of the best acting i have ever witnessed on sceen.

Spoiler alert:

When she figures out her plan worked and her hubby took the bait, her face lights up with pure joy, like she's won the lottery. The elation is all over her face, the camera zooms in on her face, capturing all that happiness. But then, when she nears the door, and it hits her that it's her son with the prostitute, her expression does a 180 to sadness and despair. The disappointment, the pain, the fear. She nails it all so perfectly. I'd say it's up there with Glenn Close in Dangerous Liaisons in that makeup removal scene.

What do you guys think?

I liked the movie. Kajol’s story was the most painful. I fast forwarded it coz her husband was a leech. What an absolute worst thing.

Last scene was heartbreaking.

Best story was Neena Gupta’s. Lmao. Who wouldn’t want a Dadi like her. smiley36 Her character reminded me of Khala. smiley14

hopefully, he used protection or else his life is over. Most std can be controlled by medications. Unless it was HIV. Very painful story. Her acting was great. But her character was a doormat.

Kajol's story was tragic. Heartbreaking.

I liked the Neena Gupta's story as well but the young actress was a bit annoying. Beautiful face but she needed to smile a bit less.

HIV is treatable now as well if diagnosed early. With Preps, it has also become easily preventable.

However, the movie was set in a past period i think.

Oh that must been very bad then. No wonder she was heart broken.

Yeah, when Kajol calls the woman who tells her about one of the prostitute catching HIV, she mentions explicitly that its a death sentence.

So, either the movie was set in a past period or somewhere far away where they lacked the awareness.

Anyways, It was a heartbreaking and tragic story but i didn't find much depth to it.

What fascinated me the most was Kajol's acting especially in the last scene.

My cousin messaged me couple weeks ago and said the grandmother reminded her of me, also Are you my cousin? Is that why you don’t hate me despite the very best attempts by MIDs ki toli? smiley37

OT: Kajol’s performance was great but that film was really hard to get through. Very depressing. I liked the one about the maid and her boss, the best. Some real good acting there by both the female leads. It was real but also entertaining, the confrontation scene and the end where they finally understand each other was done really well.

Hiv is not curable. It is treatable. There is a difference. Please be careful not to spread misinfo.

Whatever the case maybe. If it was set in another time zone, more then likely in the past. Also in the small villages. It explains Kajol's heartbroken look at the end. There was no way her son could have saved himself by using protection. He was more than likely going to end up dying soon.
