If Deepika does a small film...A big budget film starring superstars like SRK,HR will suffer.If she does a south film next a Big BW film would have to look around for Kiara,Kriti etc.

If she doesn't do an RK or RS film, it is their loss.

She has all the choices, all the aces.It is for her to pick.

Like you said..whether it is Piku, CE, YJHD, Pathan or Padmaavat,she can do any film.

Big films have a very wide reach..to the smallest towns in India and overseas.

People post on Insta..for amplification.There is no bigger reach than a big blockbuster film.

Every star male or female..superstar or wannabe superstar dreams of that.

Songs in these hit films are remembered for years.One of best recalls a star can hope for.

I think it's quite well balanced. And she continues to stay with the audience with some of her special appearances. Her song was one of the few good things about Cirkus. Her Jawan cameo was universally loved.

She will have Intern remake wedged between her next big budget movies. So she seems to be doing just fine

Also nothing wrong in chasing the big budgets and increasing your valuation as a star when the times are good. Stardom can be very fickle

Yes, looks like Deepika wants to do as much glamorous roles she can as she is nearing 40.

Maybe she feels that later on she wouldn’t be offered such roles and can always do those meatier , character roles at that time.
