CIRUS (Canada India Reactor Utility Services) was a research reactor at the Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC) in Trombay near Mumbai, India. CIRUS was supplied by Canada in 1954, but used heavy water (deuterium oxide) supplied by the United States. It was the second nuclear reactor to be built in India.

This makes me so angry

Maybe because we ignore their plight and failed to provide justice, thats why they are still harboring hate for india? Maybe there's no hope or faith left in them.

Funny they feel there is so much injustice

Still before this elections, Punjab was electing Congress to rule their state.

Instead of going against Congress they are spreading hate for Hindus and insulting our National Flag.

Why so much entitlement?

Also who can defend disrespect of Indian Flag that too at this level.

No words for them.

There's no difference in any political party in India from their prospective. In the end, the majority can arm twist them. Congress incited the genocide but the intolerance for them is not restricted to one political party. You can't tell someone to kill in such brutal manner unless the perpetrators really hate them themselves.

And what's funny about what they feel? Injustice is injustice. Why is it so hard to acknowledge? Is it because the hate is mutual and we don't consider them as humans or worthy for justice?

Post independence history of bharat isn't too rosy nor bharat is an angel. Patriotism is good but don't let it cloud your senses. Rest is upto you.

Thousands of Sikhs were brutally murdered (gang raped, acid attacked, lynched, hacked to pieces and burnt alive in some cases) and tens of thousands were displaced. The horrors of what transpired in 1984 can't be captured in a couple of sentences or paragraphs. Without a doubt, it was an extremely shameful chapter in the history of post independent India.

It is not accurate to say that India failed to provide justice. Several commissions and committees were formed to investigate the riots and prosecute the criminals. Hundreds were arrested, some are serving life imprisonment.

There were some high profile names like H.K.L. Bhagat, Lalit Maken, Arjan Dass, Jagdish Tytler, Sajjan Kumar, K.C. Pant etc. There were some revenge killings (of the likes of Lalit Maken and Arjan Dass)

Sajjan Kumar is still serving a life sentence. There are several cases against him and even if he is acquitted in one doesn't mean he is roaming free. As it happens in any free country, criminals too are entitled to apply for bail. Hopefully he doesn't get it.

Is justice delayed in some cases? Absolutely! is there anything close to justice keeping in mind what happened back then? No! Is that grounds to "harbor hate for India" (in your own words), demand a separate Sikh state and/or orchestrate targeted killings in India? No but victims of those riots and their families should be given a platform to speak while the courts ensure that they have a speedy redressal.
