I love these simplistic looks these actresses have been going around for quite some time. Simplicity is underrated. I know that traditionally brides usually go for heavy outfits with red color and henna decorated on their hands up to their arms but there’s something so surreal about these simple pastel colors, minimum henna on hands, elegant jewellery and nothing over the top, makes for a perfect look IMO!Originally posted by: IAmLuvBolly
Her mehndi is very simple very minimalistic. Yea maybe this is how she likes it. I think most of us when we think Indian bride we think red outfits and hands covered with mehendi design all the way up to the elbow, and heavy make up. So these new trends seem almost un-bridal for lack of a better phrasing.
Her engagement outfit was a very simple, albeit very elegant, shalwar kameez. So yea simplicity has been a recurring theme here.

in close up the lehenga is very pretty, the dupatta draped over the blouse is done how you would do it over a salwar, it's hiding the blouse design. probably to highlight the big jewels. the jewels are pretty but something is off about them with the outfits. everything is pretty minimalistic with big jewels but she needed more on her face, she is so pretty, a bindi, a nath , more eye makeup something to get away from the big rock benda
