Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Maira expresses her trust in Abhira, but it leaves her unsettled

Tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode opens with Madhav urging Mukti to have some food, but she refuses, unwilling to leave Abhira’s side. Madhav gently tells her that if she truly wants to support Abhira, she must gather strength, and for that she needs to eat. Kaveri also steps in and asks Mukti to go for a while. At that moment, Kaveri receives a call from Manisha and informs her that Abhira is unconscious due to medication. Shortly after, Abhira slowly regains consciousness.

Meanwhile, Maira recalls the incident to Armaan, explaining how she and Mukti tried to confront Meher. She describes Mukti as brave and shares how she attempted to distract Meher to ensure her own safety. While running away, she accidentally collided with Meher. Hearing this, Armaan assumes that Meher tried to harm Maira, and in an attempt to defend herself, Maira must have pushed Meher down the stairs. Maira is taken aback by his conclusion. Armaan reassures her, saying that self-defense is not a crime and he will prove it legally. He then asks her to sign the confession papers.

Just then, Abhira arrives and immediately tears the confession. Armaan questions her action, but Abhira firmly states that she believes Maira did nothing to Meher, not even in self-defense. Maira gets emotional and hugs Abhira. Armaan tries to reason with Abhira, insisting that Maira is scared and unable to recall the truth clearly. However, Maira firmly denies pushing Meher. Armaan refuses to accept her version, but Maira stops him and asks him to listen.

Elsewhere, Vidya insists on meeting Maira, but Manoj prevents her. At the hospital, Mukti, Madhav, and Kaveri are shocked to discover that Abhira is no longer there.

Maira pleads with Armaan to trust her and hear her out instead of jumping to conclusions. Armaan says he does trust her, but Abhira continues to stand strongly in Maira’s defense, leaving Maira surprised. Soon, the inspector asks Maira if she is ready to give her official statement and requests her to complete the formalities first. Vidya again asks for permission to meet Maira, but the inspector denies it, saying her parents are already present. Manoj takes Vidya away.

On the other side, Disha notices Mamta looking worried and asks her the reason. Mamta says she will eat later, but Disha urges her to stop Damyanti from calling Manisha and making hurtful remarks. Disha suddenly realizes that Aryan overheard their conversation and quickly apologizes, clarifying that she wasn’t gossiping but only concerned. Aryan, in turn, apologizes to Disha, saying that because of him she has lost her happiness. Disha expresses her belief that she is unlucky for the Poddar family, but Aryan comforts her.

Armaan tells Maira to inform the inspector that he will be her lawyer. However, Maira surprises everyone by saying that Abhira will represent her instead. Abhira is left stunned, while Maira hugs her tightly. Abhira feels overwhelmed, almost as if she is dreaming. Maira brings her back to reality and asks her to accept the situation. Abhira assures Maira that she will fight her case and protect her.

At the same time, Krish begins to panic, worrying that if the police trace his number on Meher’s phone, he will be exposed. Tanya confronts him and questions why he shared Maira’s location. She soon discovers that Krish had sent Maira’s whereabouts to Meher. Krish then admits that he had been secretly working with Meher and passing Armaan’s information to her. This revelation leaves Tanya completely shocked.

Later, Maira presents her statement before the juvenile board, with both Abhira and Armaan standing by her side. Maira explains that when Meher attempted to attack her, she lost her own balance and fell down the stairs on her own. After the statement, Abhira asks the inspector if Maira can return home, but the inspector clarifies that they must wait for the judge’s decision on bail.

In the precap, Maira is questioned about her legal representative. Abhira steps forward to fight her case. Maira expresses her faith in Abhira, while Abhira worries about failing her again. Armaan encourages her, reminding her that while a lawyer may lose a case, a mother never gives up. Motivated by his words, Abhira resolves to stand strong and fight for Maira.
