They're doing a 20yrs long leap to focus on the next generation, when they never gave the first lead couple any happy moments post the latest leap and separation and are leaving so many unresolved issues that could be used to bring the SL forward without needing a leap.

Also, rumours are that the main negative lead (who's married in real life to the show's current male lead) and her husband are behind some of the crap-tastic tracks since last yr.... which seems plausible, given that they showed the latter more as a married couple on screen (in spite of the huge lack of onscreen chemistry).

I regret taking interest in it, now.
