Akshara did everything for abhinav as his only wish was to have family. If he would have got to know on that temple day the family he treats as his was never his he would have broke into pieces. Akshara did a huge mistake by thinking abhi never loved or cared for her. But it was not abhinav's mistake as he does not even know what was Akshara's past.

If akshara would have chosen abhimanyu that day it will just look she is very selfish as that will break multiple families.

So she decided to give abhinav his happy family by masking all her memories. All her harsh words for manjari and abhimanyu may be shown as she wanted to make them hate her so that they can also move on in their life.now since abhinav is dead she is okay to include them in her family but she don't want to give abhi his place as abhinav will not even have anyone who will mourn for him. Which would be disrespect for his soul other wise how akshu can not get even single fb. Unless she is getting it but just writer's want to keep suspence.

Abhinav's soul entry will make her realize she was just living in a delusional world where only he and abhir was happy but she was not happy. It's time for her to get her share of happiness 😄

Few scenes I liked other than the main ones. The investor said "good luck for life" - ha ha. Abhi refused to go until Ak got her ride back home, looks like he will never let go alone again. Ak got to know that Abhi kept her waiting intentionally at the canteen. Abhi needed the food to be on table to calm down Ak. Silly Ak thinks that Abhi ka dil khaali hai. I empathise with Abhi's frustration, when your crush/love tells you to move on with another person, it hurts you to hell and back. The scene where the ladies were dancing was very sweetly done, Abhi had some sweet fb's. Abhi complaining to Mahdev why he is not his team...(he is on your team Abhi, Just wait).

Muskaan insulted both Mimi and the Goenka family 😂.

Also, is it just me? Why is Muskaan looking so pretty today...her saree, earrings, her hair, overall styling. I was distracted by that when she was talking.

Yes even the mandir one had a level of euphoria in it as he poured his heart out about only ever loving her. But this confession today has him calling her Akshara and it has a way more tired and hopeless quality than his previous confessions.

Yeah I felt same too ... not sure if it was desperation or fear of rejection or like you said just hopelessness of his heart. he just doesn't have a choice. His heart has always loved her. So bittersweet.
