Karan wants to get on the new gen’s ultra woke group.. Hum mid 80s mein born home wale log abhi bhi wese hi hai.

KKHH meri bhi favorite hai. And seeing that Nayan is born in 84, obviously uski bhi favorite hai. It was her teen age movie. KKHH was like a cultural reset. Nostalgia is very powerful thing, specially younger years.

Really. And she looks much better than them too. She looked so right for that part, pretty and hot and fit. She was a big plus to the cast. I hope she does more hindi movies.

I just wanna know ye kaunsi 2-3 kitaab ek din me khatam kar leti thi? Wo illustrated books for 3 year olds?

I remember as a kid I had this comics thingy that had Bollywood news in comic format... Don't remember the name of that but it had stuff like coverage on Apache Indian, impact of Sholay dialogues (yes growing up in 90s Sholay still pervaded normal convo), etc..... I digress, but the point I'm making is... it had an article on Twinkle Khanna and how she didn't know how to read Hindi and read her dialogues written in Roman alphabets and NOT Devnagri. And I remember the kid me being shocked... aisa kaisa ho sakta hai... Now I think all Bollywood dialogues are written in Roman script(?). In Pakistan, at least for their dramas, the script is still written in Urdu!

Maybe the parents of these star kids never thought their kids will enter the industry and so never thought of teaching them Hindi.....

Nowadays it's common for all the new stars,writers and directors from all industries to read the script in Roman letters. A leading female writer-director in Malayalam industry narrated how she wrote the script for a successful Malayalam film using Roman letters. She got someone to write it in Malayalam before giving it to the star. Only to realize later on that the star got someone to convert it to Manglish.

@bold — or it could be that parents knew still didn’t bother to teach kids Hindi coz hey.. India mein jab take sanima hai.. log qtiya bante rahenge..

Parents be like — janta ne humein pyar diya toh hamare bachho ko bhi swikar kar lenge.. Tuti futi Hindi ke sath. Parents bhi delusional

Arey nai yar even I like KKHH.It’s just that I dint want her to name Kjo’s movies as her fav.When Samantha had come on KWK she had said something like Nayanthara is the biggest superstar down South and iss Kjo ne fatak se kaha not according to my list.Now I found his reaction a bit disrespectful.Islie I wish Nayan had taken some other movie’s name rather than Kjo’s.
