It's painful because I used to have really gorgeous thick hair, even though I say so myself. I'm gonna go see a doctor for it soon but I was wondering if there's any specific routine or a product that helped you guys?

Tagging Mallika because I know she knows a lot about skin care.

And to make it bollywood related ...who do you think has the best hair in bollywood?

So you got Covid and hair started to fall? Sorry to hear that

I didn’t read the other posts so don’t know if anyone else has already mentioned it

Get your Thyroid and Iron levels checked. Deficiency can cause severe hair loss

“Two of the most common non-hereditary causes of hair loss are low thyroid function and iron deficiency. Both are relatively common, especially in women. And although they are two completely different conditions, they share some of the same symptoms”

Add PCOD , insomnia, pollution and stress to that.

PCOD is a Major cause of hairfall.

For hair- please use a sulphate free shampoo. If the tap water in your place is hard water then install a filter in your showerhead, you'd see a marked improvement in your scalp health within a month and your hair will turn super soft from frizzy.

Please take biotin supplements regularly but be patient as it takes time to show the effect.

Please use a ceramide based facewash if your skin is normal/dry and centella based facewash if sensitive.

Please always use only coin size amount and don't rub your skin harshly. Be gentle. Wash your face twice a day. Also, raw milk is an excellent cleanser which cleanses face really well without making it dry. smiley1

Don't. Dermatologists say it doesn't help improve hair or hair fall condition, you might even develop thyroid or other problems due to the high dose of biotin. You can try it if it's topical.

For hair fall, go to a good dermatologist. They'd determine your issue (dietary, hormonal, or other illness) and then might suggest topical minoxidil.

Whattt !!! I'm a doctor myself !!! Biotin has nothing to do with thyroid smiley36 and daily biotin supplements generally have very low dose of biotin anyway. It's 100% safe. And yes it helps in long term if the person does not have an already underlying condition.

There’s no strong evidence to support using biotin for hair growth or to prevent hair loss in people without a deficiency.

But if you're deficient, it might help.
