Imlie Written Update and EDT 11 Sept 2023 - 20 yrs leap

Episode begins with leap of one generation . Imlie has grown up into a young lady in Purwaiya village .

She is a naughty , bubbly , happy youngster like all others of her age , she is loved by all the villagers. Her bicycle is called Mr Pinky.

She loves to play the flute and attract lost cows n calves return to her by following her tunes.
She loves singing and helping villagers . She is kind hearted n distributes food to needy. She participates in Janamashtami celebrations .
She is the one who climbs the human pyramid on Dahi Hundi festival on Janamashtami , she shatters the Dahi and earns everyone’s blessings. .she lives with her adoptive family after Atharva and Imlie’s demise . The6 miss no chance to mistreat her, abuse her, taunt her n force her to earn money for the family by Singing n dancing at Bar in the village “ deshi theka ” . Many other young girls of the village are sent to the same bar by her aunt and force them into becoming bar dancers . They are shamed and threatened by her .

The hero enters the scene as he alights to the Varanasi airport , he planned to meet his granny but he is miffed because of the huge crowds because of festival time. He scolds his attendant and driver for not checking out the festival days . He hates crowds, festivals and villages . He hates sweets n has no sympathy for the poor n deprived people in society . At purwaiya village he accidentally collides with Imlie’s bicycle n she falls down, she throws volley of accuses at him. He expects her to come to him n demand money from him as usual , like all poor people. He is surprised as she does not fall in line with his ideas . She walks away . His car stalls and he has to sit out in Purwaiya village for his vehicle to arrive.

Imlie’s aunt hands her new costume for her performance n warns her to earn more money . Her adoptive sister abuses her n snatches her that costume wears it and loves to admire herself . Imlie tricks her and gags n binds her to keep her out of the way as she enjoys the festival.

When aunt discovers her daughter in that state she fumes with fury and slaps Imlie . Sends her off to get dressed n off to the bar to earn money .

As The hero is waiting for vehicle, he is advised to wait in the bar to pass time .

He is impressed by Imlie’s performance . He learns she is the new singing sensation in the village . After the performance he walks away , but she demands the price of enjoying her performance . He gives her loads of money and shames her for the profession. Imlie retorts back about his low thinking n throws the money back at him.
