I agree, Gul couples have a magic. Yeah it is common across itv. Even the sunshine couples like Karan Preeta have the dynamic.

But also there is severe imbalance, Arnav, Shivaay were lot more physical. It was always them initiating and the FL responding till many episodes. It would be fine if the marriage itself was not a forced one. But yes, itv has no concept of consent.

The Gul couples always have chemistry even if the actors are subpar, she manages to get the mood/bgm /setting right. Also ml is shown to work and family members are not useless. Here ml and whole family stands in line to watch or participate in hall drama.

I for once want to see an itv female lead (with bad past and lots of arrogance) misunderstanding guy and forcing him to marry her. Would audience/writers romanticise it

Haha.. Exactly!! She does the trick with bad actors as well.. That's the funny thing... I don't if you remember Bhavya from Ishqbaaz I always felt she wasn't good enough to be the heroine.. I mean beautiful thi.. Lekin acting was so bad (just IMO, pls don't cancel me😂).. Phir bhi she made it work.

Here though ithni badiya cast hokar bhi repulsive story lakar, show ko absurd banate hein.

Exactlu, I was thinking the same. I mean not a Ms. Arnav Raizada... But an unconventional female n male lead....maybe a nice breezy story. Something apart from women emerging from the torturs of her sasural.. Coz we saw a lot of such stories.. I mean we still need those stories, let em keep coming... By the way I heard the new thriller is good. No?
