Official adaptation of 1001 nights got me hooked to this show ... I guessed it won't be 100% adaptation but now look like totally " mutilated version og the beautiful Original love story

Honestly, I have no problem if they adapted or got inspired. I see this show as if it is its own original story. Most of the creative liberties had been brilliant. Except for whitewashing Viraaj. I have not seen the original turkish show. From the description of original turkish show, I think Indian makers have done justice to indian audience.

Original Turkish show might be fine with turkish audiences but, for Indian audiences and in general too, I found many things disturbing. Especially ML being much more toxic than that of Viaan. This is true story of Victim falling for her harasser.

Also, I don't understand why the OG show is hailed as some sort of perfect story that is used as a benchmark for comparison? I read several places about it, it was a very flawed show as per reviews and summaries I read.

Let's forget for a moment that this was even related to Turkish series and then imagine the scenario..

Like every other ITV serial it also would have gained that audience and it would have been seen that way and nothing new would have been expected so no one would have been criticising the show for its typical ITV vamps drama...

But, that's not the case na bro... Show was advertised and promoted as something new, as a remake and that raised expectations of OTT-ITV modern janta who's sick and tired of same old plots and when the show is getting to same old style drama, it's nit easy to digest...

Besides, do you remember how Indian cricket team when plays bad they are bashed so harshly and when they play well they are just garnered with so much love and appreciation... Similar is the case here, show was appreciated too when the content was deserving and currently it's being criticised you know why...

I'm not saying you are wrong, if we see from you POV, as an independent show with it's own story it's okay or even good then but as for me, this seems like over stretched and unnecessary vamp drama for I don't know what...

if they had said it was inspired, most viewers here in IF would have come in with the right expectations. we would have not been surprised or disappointed at the major changes they made in viaan's character which basically changed the show 180 degrees. whenever makers claim it is official, people come in with certain expectations. ofcouse, we expect to see some localization but we are expecting to see the characters and essentially the same setup and conflict. there might be different interpretations from the actors but no so much it deviates. I really don't see why viaan had to be changed so much. it is not like we haven't had grey MLs in cinema or in dramas.

Har ladies aisa nahi hote nahi re baba but these 2 ladies ke bhes mai churel hai so aadat se majboor ..but these 2 don't know neerja ji hai kiya ..

What a cheap formula now cvs r using ..boo boo to them 👎..
