Dadichis son- Rudra incarnation

Maharishi dadhichi and son Pipplad.

Maharishi Dadichis son was none but Rudra incarnation for the welfare of all.

Rishi Dadichi with his tough penance, from shivji received boon, firstly his bones to be harder than any vajra and secondly will get shivji as son. After burning his body for Gods, God vishwakarma created weapon from his bones and Indra killed that demon.

When Dadhichis wife came back to the ashram and learnt how her husband had sacrificed his life for the gods, she was very angry and cursed Indra and the other gods. Then she got a pyre ready to perform sati. just then she heard a celestial voice from heaven which said "Devi! You are carrying the sages child in your womb.
Therefore, you should give up the idea of performing sati."
A pregnant woman should not destroy her body by burning it. Hearing all this, she was dismayed atonce but her only desire was to go to the place where her husband had gone.She tore her stomach with a piece of stone and the embryo came out of it.It was so bright that all the three lokas were lit up. This was an incarnation of Rudra.
As she was aware of the fact that child is rudras incarnation, she offered her prayers
"dear son! I leave you near this fig tree. May you grow into a person
who will bring happiness to one and all"
and saying all this she followed her husband and ended her life.
After that Brahma and all other gods came there and offered prayers to theinfant incarnation of Rudra. Brahmaji named him PIPPLAD.
bcoz took birth under pippal tree and later on this tree took care of the infant. Then performing all ceremonies, gods went back to their respective abodes leaving Dev pipplad under fig tree.The Rudra incarnation Pipplad performed Tap for long time under that fig tree for the welfare of all.

Devi Padma and Dharm dev:

Once taking bath in pushpbhadra river, Rishi Pipplad saw a beautiful princess PADMA(goddess parvatis incarnation) daughter of King Aranya. Later he went to king and desired padma. King first thought
how can he give his beautiful daughter to a sage like this , who is very old and almost in last stage with skeleon compared body, but then realizing Tej from tap he fulfilled pipplads desire.

He was married to Padma. She was very beautiful and pativrata.
One day near river God Dharam dev came to test her virginity. He tried alot pointing again and again the old age of Pipplad Muni , she got annoyed and cursed him get demolish soon. Listening curse , Dharam dev appeared in original form and on apology devi replied
I cursed you unknowingly but even then given curse cannot be taken back. I cannot realease but in every yug, one part of Dharam will be destroyed.In SATYUG, DHARAM will be present in all ur four forms.
In Tretayug(Ramji) with 3 , In dwaparyug (Krishna)with 2 while in Kalyug only 1 form of dharam will be present. That is the reason Kaliyug running short of Dharm.
God then being satisfied by devis virginity blessed her and returned her husbands youthfulness.
They both lived happily and had ten children. They were all great sages and vigorous performers of tapasya like father.

Pipplad dev & Planet Shani (Saturn) :

Once Pipplad asked deities why father left him before his birth. Gods with complete story concluded all happened because of Shani (Saturns) very voilent poor drushti. The main cause of persons pain and death. God Pipplad got angry and cursed Planet Shani to be out of Galaxy, but then on Gods prayer he again placed shani back but he ordained that Shani would not torment the devotees of Shiva and all others till the age of sixteen. If Shani would violate his declaration, he would reduce to ashes. Thats why, it is advisable to light lamp under fig tree on saturday to get rid of Shanis problem.

In this way, this great and powerful sage Pipplad performed various acts.

Wow thanks for that, I've never heard of the Shani stories, and I never knew Shani does not affect people till 16.

How can gold turn black on burning? but Lanka made of gold did turned into black when Hanumanji burnt from tail.
Ravan was so powerful that he captured planets and always repress them to work according to him. Hanumanji rescued them , Shani dev blessed hanumanji that I will never effect those who will worship you (well hanumanji is Rudra incarnation). And when he heard of Lanka into fire , he said I ll put my bad drushti on lanka , thatsy lanka turned black.

Sati pratha was very common those days. In Tulsi Ramayan its mentioned that while funeral of Dashrath, Bharat requested all mothers not to perform Sati.
In this Pipplad Story , Gods left small child under tree coz child was Shivjis incarnation, and it shows his penance was so strong that had power to curse Shani.
There are more stories were we get small kids living alone. just see sitaji from lotus to ravan, from ravan to janak , she travelled so long.

I just hate this inhuman Sati pratha. Burning oneself in husbands pyre does not make anyone a SATI. Many celebrated women of ancient age like didn't perform sati. Kunti didnt burt herself in her husband's pyre but she is a regarded as a great sati. Even Tara n Mandodari the celebrated women who r regarded as very chaste n pure didn't performed sati. A woman who remains honest to her husband in all conditions even after his death is a real sati n not one who burns herself in her husbands's pyre.
The three queens fo Dasrath didn't performed sati because there was no such dhaarmic obligation on them.

u r rt coolpurvi, ending their life dont prove there satiness. They must see lifes of their kids and family. thats more important. justthink of family, how they manage loosing both parents all of a sudden.

one more important fact, i got from TV . acc to one Acharya we should not give water to Pippal and Tulsi tree on SUNDAY ........ dont know the reason . even should not lit lamps on sunday infront of these trees.
