Agree with you. I kind of find him quiet self centered in that interview. Didn't get good vibes and he is only good as second lead not as main lead.

Usama deserves better role. But his role is kind of grey thats why I like him that's way better than goody goody characters.

Jiya, meenu and pari were better than umeed for me. Meenu is the funniest. If we forget iqra's screaming then jiya was an ambitious character that worked for what she wanted and didn't bow down to anyone.

Umeed is a manic pixie dream girl. Nothing more, nothing less.

Umeed has toned down in second season and I find her way better than many female lead, just because she has ambition and she does have negative traits but still is mostly shown in positive light.

Minu and Pari I agree. But they were mostly docile without ambition. But,. didn't Jiya had ambition to go abroad but then later forgot about it after marriage? I might be wrong though because I haven't watched whole of Suno Chanda. And for me she was way more annoying. Her speech make me not able to watch suno chanda. Iqra overacted a lot.
