I have seen people writing essays on Umeed's character on twitter but I found that character just a basic bubbly girl nothing more than this,it isn't a complex character that you dissect the reason behind every action of hers but I do think that pakistani dramas needs more of such characters who aren't damsel in distress and can bring smile on people's faces. Umeed was much much better than other annoying af saima akram female leads.

Jiya, meenu and pari were better than umeed for me. Meenu is the funniest. If we forget iqra's screaming then jiya was an ambitious character that worked for what she wanted and didn't bow down to anyone.

Umeed is a manic pixie dream girl. Nothing more, nothing less.

As far as I have seen clips of the drama both the leads hate that they are married and all the family members are forcing them to grow up and be adults putting too much pressure on them. As of now nothing romance has been shown. It's more on the public for rooting these kids to be together. The two leads have chemistry and the public will ship anything that has chemistry and don't care about anything else. In khani and ktk the male leads had all the qualities to be villains but the public didn't care and hated the girls if they didnt bow down to the guys and shipped the couples. So it's not the makers but the audience that's the problem.

My mom was watching Daldal and I was cringing at the acting of this woman.

I watched her in rasm e duniya with billu darling and I was more than happy that he didn't end up with her character. It's not that the other girl was a better actor but definitely more bearable than armeena😆

I think she stays in abroad and choses not to else I don't think it's hard for her to get one. Also I think she has a more boss girl attitude which is not very preferable for this bridal shoots. They might want girls that look docile and with nazakat.
