Whoever is doubting ANIL SHARMA, just show them this:
Gadar 2 - The Katha Continues is one of the blockbusters ever in the history of cinema in India and now it remains to be seen where the final numbers land for the film. It is the first time that a franchise as has seen two releases and both are ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTERS with the first part among the greatest films India has ever seen.
^^^^^
Even if Anil Sharma retires or his future films don't work, this GUY has made 2 ATBB Films that are record-breaking in every sense.
Farhaan and Ashutosh will take a billion years to come up with one Single film whose collection might even match the craze of Gadar 1 and Gadar 2.
Nonsense. If the B and C centers contribute to the BO, it's great for them aln the people who like massy movies likeGadar. But if someone is creating films for the multiplex audience, then what's Harminder's issue? Not everyone finds entertainment in Gadar.
Multiplexes are contributing equally . More than they did to the recent TJMM and RRPK and OMG2 etc. And equivalent to Baahubali, War, PK, Pathaan etc. 300 crores aise hi nahi bante.

This is exactly what the article was saying, until people decided to interpret it to suit their own narratives. It was calling out people who are calling Gadar 2 a "B/C" Center film when it's grossing twice as much as these multiplex hits at those same multiplexes.😆 They used Gully Boy but you can insert any of these mpx films there like the recent RRKPK or TJMM.
This is PVR Parel(Mumbai). The most premium property/cineplex in all of India with a lineup out on the street for Gadar. It's time to wake up and smell the coffee.

I myself watched it in a sold out multiplex theatre on the first day. A few of us wanted to go today again but no tickets available. We are settling for Ghoomer which is anyway on my watchlist.
This whole grading the movies into different centers comes from the so called elite mentality which must make sense only to them. Because every producer/director makes a movie and hopes for it to be accepted by the larger audience regardless of which ‘center’ they belong to.
