It all depends on TRPs.

General viewers weren't interested in Akshara-Abhinav's love story so the makers dragged it for months. The parallel couple idea always failed. Her sudden love for him was to give his death more impact and start the new track. Her character is track based. Right now, it's a grieving widow soon it will be a woman falling in love with her ex-husband.

Abhinav is going to get the Anisha and Neil treatment with only Abhi remembering him. As for the rest of the characters, I don't think anyone will talk about him unless it's a set up for a dramatic monologue that no one will remember the next day lol.

Exactly this is what my point too.. they tried it failed yes general or trp auidence didn't accept and main pbm is PPL following legacy show for past 14 yrs can't digust the fact that fl character getting flipped here and there..romance , insecurity , glorification all failed of cross ship ..out of 2 lakh PPL watch this is what trp fetch 30% audience may be liking ..but majority were aganist it..

6 years love confession did not lead to divorce as

1. Abhinav don't have a family.

2. He died directly. Divorce kaise detha 😁 divorce is better than death 😁

see if your favourite character would had brought trp ,then hw would not had died,in this scenario if any character dies and and look alike is brought it would only be Akshara ,s3 only character consistent is Abhimanyu birla,so he cant be killed to brought back as new character

The leap was a bad idea and the lack of chemistry between Akshara-Abhinav didn't help. ITV separations are simple, but they overcomplicated everything for no reason. The minute the show became about the cameo rather than the leads and their child they lost the viewers. ITV in general revolves around the female lead, but the cameo became the female lead and all the other character were ruined to make his existence make sense.

The leap failed because the makers didn't know their audience.
