Because they all run on superficial respect..be it romance or other relationships😆Goenkas are all ehsaan faramosh but bade papa had the haq to scold abhi...which abhi gave him
abhi was like their son, not as a son in law and the distinction is sooo clear with nav
Aise formal formal rehke isko respect ka naam chaapp diyaa....which doesn't happen in real life too
Nav ka character kisi angle se bhi realistic nahi hain🤣
Ek taraf "modern" and "progressive" soch pe itna gyaan diya jaata hai that "why do people resent a woman for moving on"😆.....and on the other hand, we are still being shown that ladkiwaale need to treat son in law like GOD and prostrate before his feet at every moment and this shows "respectful" rishte😆
The writers went sooooo overboard in the need to show EVERYONE worshipping Nav that it's beyond laughable now😆.....maybe the original intent was to show a simple man who wins everyone over with his simplicity....but uske liye usko BHAGWAAN banaa ke pura din aarti karne ki zaroorat nahin thi....lol that very thing took away from his simplicity.....agar simplicity ko worship karna shuru kar do toh phir woh simplicity thodi rehti hai? The very fact that they used every character in the story to just keep doing Nav bhajan all day was the reason why his character became beyond pakaau😆
And yeah, Goenkas did treat Abhimanyu like ghar ka beta ki uthaa ke jaise marzi daant, maar lo, kuch bhi bol lo.....lol full entitlement dikhaayi mood ke hisaab se.....and Abhimanyu also let them simply out of love and respect....that is what is actual respect....ki itna mistreat hone ke baad bhi, he maintained that line of decorum with the elders.....not this superficial respect that makers tried to show with "Ji ji Nav ji" and bowing before him every 2 minutes😆
