Dimpy deserved the slap and some more!

There is no second way about it. I never liked anupama and her slave behavior towards baa and bapuji but everyone should stay in their maryada when it comes to elders and if anything needs to be expressed it should be expressed in a certain way. I thoroughly enjoyed it and she deserves some more!

Just because she is talking here and there few deserving truths she should be glorified. Truth is she sold out own family for personal gain (maaya incident, informing day to day updates to barkha and malti devi). Chi who does that. I would have thrown out her ungrateful ass too if I was in anupama's place. Today it proved that she doesn't have self respect also. Who says they will stay in Shah house to get her part of property , this proves she is and was always behind property.

Today I remembered the day when my father yelled at me when I disrespected or talked in demeaning way to my maternal grandmother even though it was just for joke.

What surprises me is that so many people are praising Dimpy. DIMPY is outright RUDE. THERE is absolute no justification for her rudeness. She is also very ungrateful. She has thus know it all attitude and got a good husband, who is also following her footsteps. Its sad to see her character turn this way.

To me, it's just encouraging people not to help those in need, nd if your family members have disowned you, don't get involved. Dimpy liked showing everyone the mirror but she herself cannot look in the mirror alone. What share is she even talking about. She's come to the house just now. The house belongs to the old grandparents that she is disrespecting and she expects them to give her a share. For God's sake that house does not legally belong to a soul besides the old couple. I mean seriously.

So true she doesn't need them but needs property. If there's a new character introduced with good amount of money she will kick samar and jump the wagon. Afterall samar was always a convenience.!!. Yes, I felt same too u cannot help some aire gaire and bring them to home and give place in family.. most ungrateful character till now in this show. Even barkha is whitewashed infront of her.!!

While I agree with you that Dimpy is extremely rude and she was definitely crossing a line and that she is an irritating character, I don't believe you should maintain "maryada" in front of elders simply because they are elders.

Abusive elders don't necessarily deserve it and I believe that is an archaic and toxic way of thinking. It's important to call out bs where there is bs and not respect someone simply because they are elders but rather because they are deserving of it.

Respect IS a two way street. One way it's more of a power dynamic.

People in this forum are Polar opposite of the makers and have extreme standpoint. They will glorify anyone and everyone who speaks against Anupama . But the truth is Dimpy is way more evil than all of the other character's combined. She can't be given clean chit just cause Anupama has her flaws. Dimpy's backstabbing nature is way worse than mahanta or EMA. Pakhi's and Toshu's worst self were very seedha sadha compared to her. Even Baa is better than her. If anyone has done you a favour you try to return the favor no matter how the person is. Dimpy is a complete biological waste and should be put in prison for lifetime. She would harm anyone and everyone to get what she wants. She didn’t even spare her parents. Samar is an idiot for trusting this ungrateful shameless entitled opportunist.

Anupama's most nikamma children is none other than Samar. Her other children atleast chose somewhat decent life partner. They balance it out. When other one goes evil other tries to correct their partner. So the evilness doesn’t become as intense as in these two garbage's case Samar and Dimpy.

Nobody is appreciating abuse towards elders but those Shah house elders were the same reason a woman got abused non stop physically , mentally and emotionally for 25 years.

AGE , GENDER, WHATEVER ARE NOT THE PARAMETERS FOR GIVING RESPECT TO ANYONE. It is the behaviour and deeds of a person that should be seen.

Hasmukh remained silent spectator of abuse to Anupama and even today manipulates her to take responsibilities of Shah house . He always ran away when she was in problem . This has been pointed out by Anupama herself.

Dimpy deserves the slap ! Yes..She is as disgusting as pakhi is. But what she did is far less filthy than what Shah family had done . They are outright criminals who need to be put inside jail for domestic violence.

Dimpys behaviour was wrong but what she said was totally true !! Anupama never stood up to her abusers and is still blind to them.

Even Pakhi had insulted Anupama brutally million times calling her kalank but Anupama just hugged her back .

Anupama is talking about tameez while she herself couldn't instill tameez in her own children especially her daughter.

no one is truly celebrating Dimpy here... the amount of hatred towards the hypocrisy of anupamaa is as such that even a characters like dimpy sounds true to her nature.....
