This gen leap look ok for now. Story is giving initial Udaariyaan vibes. Good thing they didn't kill Ekam, Nehmat and Harleen and instead replaced them with older actors. Rupy being alive is ok. But Babe is still around too. She's giving competition to Rishta's Mimi.

Why is Aasmaa's dad so afraid of sending her to India? Does he think Ekam will find out about her?

Armaan's character is disappointing though. He's 10th failed and useless. Both Fateh and Ekam had a career. Now I think, like someone said Armaan will woo Aasmaa to get to Canada. But Aasmaa wants to stay in India. And Aliya would have double reason to hurt her, one being Harleens's daughter and Armaan's connection to her. If they don't spoil it like 2nd gen with excess negativity, this season has more potential.

Didn't they stop ivf treatment long ago? May be they went for ivf again before harleen accident with ekam's consent . That's mean even after having Aliya in their life ,harleen still have hopes for her own child.

Or I would say just to boost the Story makers suddenly planned this pregnancy and ivf theory. Kuch to dikhana hi tha to ye hi sahi

I second you. This season has some potential . It's surely giving season 1 vibes with good music, punjabi accent, moga ki galliyan and top of that none of the actors died.

I like the actress playing grown up Aliya. she looks so beautiful, natural and spontaneous.

I think sargun ravi's favourite is rupi. Every actor comes n goes but rupi is only constant since start to now

I was happy to see that this is a true gen leap with older actors stepping in to show the prior gen instead of killing everyone off for no good reason. I think they will bring another actor for Harleen too. That is why they didn't show her today.

Agree!! Gives much better vibes than nehmat-naaz intro. Looks like a clean start that you see in new shows with proper character introductions. If somebody was watching the show for the first time, they would be curious. They haven't brought in too much baggage from the prior generation. Most of that will also go away when Armaan's full family is introduced

It's more like the makers wanted two sisters for S3 story. Hence, the story was abruptly changed as Harleen continued her IVF treatment with the expectation of having her own child.

I like the actress playing grown up Aliya. she looks so beautiful, natural and spontaneous.

The actress playing Aliya has played similar characters in other shows and is more experienced than the other two actors. So I guess it was easier for her to adopt to her new role.
