I especially couldn’t stomach the way the wedding went ahead without her. May be that is how the rich people do it but in our households can you imagine the daadi not being at the forefront of her grandchildren’s wedding?

The movie is not at all about the cultural differences. It’s much deeper than that.
Finally watched the movie. And what a very well made entertaining movie.I think I have laughed and cried this much after soo long.❤️
Now coming to performances.. the star of the movie was surely Ranveer. He is the heart beat of the movie I would say.He played this caricaturish character with such ease..it almost looked like he’s playing himself in the first half but he’s equally good in the second half..what a sincere performance.Much love to him.👏
Alia was very good too.And I adored Tota and Churni.❤️
A lovely cast but I have to say the Bengali pronunciation of Alia and Shabana was very distracting.
If only the Gadar 2 tsunami wasn’t coming next week. 😒
