I think she went into the movie industry bec that was just expected of her. She got the one best thing out of the Industry in her time there and that was Akshay.

But she definately had a good mind and used it well and made herself successful.

She mainly wanted to support her self . While she was in industry. She already had a successful candle business Along with her mother dimple.
