Truth be told, I havent watched a single episode in full for a longass time and after the whole Abhinav exit, I cannot be bothered to watch even parts of it but Twitter did its job yesterday... showed me the bit where Abhir says 'you are the best but my parents are better than the best' to Abhimanyu and I just knew I had to watch today's episode.

This is the one episode I was waiting for since the day a miscarrying Akshara faced spousal abuse in the hands of Abhimanyu.
The one episode I was waiting for since the day Abhimanyu,rather than begging on his knees for forgiveness from his son's mother at being one of the worst MLs of ITV, he went all HAQ HAQ HAQ when he first got to know of his existence.
The one episode I was waiting for since the day Abhimanyu snatched Abhir from his parents and apparently the law helped him lol.
The one episode I was waiting for to prove one basic fact : Palne wala paida karne wale se bohut bara hota hain.
POETIC JUSTICE : Abhimanyu being outright rejected by Abhir, not just in favor of his parents who he obviously cannot replace but also reduced from Dadda to Docman again.
Loved all the POVs given with Arohi stating the most important one : Nobody's opinion matters except Abhir's. What he wants. Abhimanyu can throw at him all the money in the world but he cannot replace his Mumma-Papa and even the court cannot change what his heart wants. His chants of HAQ he tortured Akshara with will never work for Abhir.
I wrote in one of the last posts on Abhinav's exit thread that my only wish was seeing Akshara-Abhinav-Abhir back together as a family in Kasauli before any other nonsense takes place and DKP served me exactly that and for that am glad. Now whatever else that happens after this is IRRELEVANT.
ABHIR OUTRIGHT REJECTED ABHIMANYU FOR AKSHARA AND ABHINAV.
He also took away the forced other father status Abhimanyu tried to inculcate cause guess what, HE ALREADY HAS A FATHER. Abhinav Sharma!
The best part about all this is that while I would have loved,simply loved if Akshara had won the second custody case and took Abhir back.. TODAY WAS MUCH BETTER.
Cause THE SON,the so called 'prize' Abhimanyu wanted HAQ on and Manjiri wanted KABZA on CHOSE the father and family HE WANTS and REJECTED the father and family he DOESNT.
ABHIR CHOSE TO BE A SHARMA AND REJECTED BEING A BIRLA.
What more is left to be said? NOTHING. This is KARMIC JUSTICE for Abhimanyu's long list of sins, number 1 being his treatment of a miscarrying spouse like absolute trash, to be instantly divorced,physically assaulted by his family members and thrown out of the house. Then never bothering about her condition much much after. Number 2 being the failure to protect his son and his interests from his own vile mother.
POETIC JUSTICE for Akshara and Abhinav who raised their son with everything they had and therefore were his ONLY choice.
One thing was established today that nothing in the future can tarnish.
While Abhinav Sharma was alive and well, Akshara never bothered with Abhimanyu again. The latter might have taught her what's love but its the former who taught her how to love. Her reaction to his advent yesterday, to his 'Nikkeji' was everything to me. This is the Akshara I would remember. Burdened by her past and its bittersweet memories but choosing Abhinav over and over again, every single time. Thats Abhinav's Akshara. Choosing her happiness and family over and over again nomatter what life throws at her because she now knows what family and happiness truly mean and who hers lie with. Abhinav and Abhir. Till the very end.
But more importantly, while Abhinav Sharma was alive and well, ABHIR, his son.. the son he raised and gave his entire self to chose HIM as his FATHER, HIS PAPA. And that love was so strong that he even took back faux father epithet DADDA from Abhimanyu.
Only in DEATH would Abhir and Akshara ever choose anyone other than Abhinav to be their father and their husband, respectively. He's their ONLY choice when he was alive. Nobody could replace him. For them, Abhinav Sharma was the best father and best husband. And isnt that EVERYTHING? What else is left to say to that.
Just a wonderful, wonderful episode. An episode which basically wraps up Abhinav's arc beautifully. His son, Abhir Sharma chose the family he built,the house he built.. to spend the rest of his life there. His purpose of existence was to provide Abhir with everything he never had as an orphan and today by choosing him, Abhir fulfilled his purpose.
Abhir chose to be ABHIR ABHINAV SHARMA and rejected being ABHIR ABHIMANYU BIRLA.
With this, with today's episode, I feel like even my purpose of watching the show was fulfilled. Everything that came before and everything that would come after is now absolutely IRRELEVANT. This is the end that I wanted for Abhinav. Regardless of whatever Abhimanyu did or did not do, regardless of his upteenth whitewashing, Abhir's one true wish was being with his parents- Akshara Sharma and Abhinav Sharma. That nobody can change. No future narrative can change that.. and isnt that just wonderful. The entire Kasauli arc, Abhinav arc,Akshnav arc, Abhinav-Abhir arc is finally complete with Abhir's final wish, his choice : To be with his parents and to be A SHARMA.
