ABHIR ABHINAV SHARMA rejects being ABHIR ABHIMANYU BIRLA.

Truth be told, I havent watched a single episode in full for a longass time and after the whole Abhinav exit, I cannot be bothered to watch even parts of it but Twitter did its job yesterday... showed me the bit where Abhir says 'you are the best but my parents are better than the best' to Abhimanyu and I just knew I had to watch today's episode.

AND MY GOD IT WAS GLORIOUS!

When ITV serves logic, drama and most importantly KARMA, IT SERVES!

This is the one episode I was waiting for since the day a miscarrying Akshara faced spousal abuse in the hands of Abhimanyu.

The one episode I was waiting for since the day Abhimanyu,rather than begging on his knees for forgiveness from his son's mother at being one of the worst MLs of ITV, he went all HAQ HAQ HAQ when he first got to know of his existence.

The one episode I was waiting for since the day Abhimanyu snatched Abhir from his parents and apparently the law helped him lol.

The one episode I was waiting for to prove one basic fact : Palne wala paida karne wale se bohut bara hota hain.

POETIC JUSTICE : Abhimanyu being outright rejected by Abhir, not just in favor of his parents who he obviously cannot replace but also reduced from Dadda to Docman again.

Loved all the POVs given with Arohi stating the most important one : Nobody's opinion matters except Abhir's. What he wants. Abhimanyu can throw at him all the money in the world but he cannot replace his Mumma-Papa and even the court cannot change what his heart wants. His chants of HAQ he tortured Akshara with will never work for Abhir.

I wrote in one of the last posts on Abhinav's exit thread that my only wish was seeing Akshara-Abhinav-Abhir back together as a family in Kasauli before any other nonsense takes place and DKP served me exactly that and for that am glad. Now whatever else that happens after this is IRRELEVANT.

ABHIR OUTRIGHT REJECTED ABHIMANYU FOR AKSHARA AND ABHINAV.

He also took away the forced other father status Abhimanyu tried to inculcate cause guess what, HE ALREADY HAS A FATHER. Abhinav Sharma!

The best part about all this is that while I would have loved,simply loved if Akshara had won the second custody case and took Abhir back.. TODAY WAS MUCH BETTER.

Cause THE SON,the so called 'prize' Abhimanyu wanted HAQ on and Manjiri wanted KABZA on CHOSE the father and family HE WANTS and REJECTED the father and family he DOESNT.

ABHIR CHOSE TO BE A SHARMA AND REJECTED BEING A BIRLA.

What more is left to be said? NOTHING. This is KARMIC JUSTICE for Abhimanyu's long list of sins, number 1 being his treatment of a miscarrying spouse like absolute trash, to be instantly divorced,physically assaulted by his family members and thrown out of the house. Then never bothering about her condition much much after. Number 2 being the failure to protect his son and his interests from his own vile mother.

POETIC JUSTICE for Akshara and Abhinav who raised their son with everything they had and therefore were his ONLY choice.

One thing was established today that nothing in the future can tarnish.

While Abhinav Sharma was alive and well, Akshara never bothered with Abhimanyu again. The latter might have taught her what's love but its the former who taught her how to love. Her reaction to his advent yesterday, to his 'Nikkeji' was everything to me. This is the Akshara I would remember. Burdened by her past and its bittersweet memories but choosing Abhinav over and over again, every single time. Thats Abhinav's Akshara. Choosing her happiness and family over and over again nomatter what life throws at her because she now knows what family and happiness truly mean and who hers lie with. Abhinav and Abhir. Till the very end.

But more importantly, while Abhinav Sharma was alive and well, ABHIR, his son.. the son he raised and gave his entire self to chose HIM as his FATHER, HIS PAPA. And that love was so strong that he even took back faux father epithet DADDA from Abhimanyu.

Only in DEATH would Abhir and Akshara ever choose anyone other than Abhinav to be their father and their husband, respectively. He's their ONLY choice when he was alive. Nobody could replace him. For them, Abhinav Sharma was the best father and best husband. And isnt that EVERYTHING? What else is left to say to that.

Just a wonderful, wonderful episode. An episode which basically wraps up Abhinav's arc beautifully. His son, Abhir Sharma chose the family he built,the house he built.. to spend the rest of his life there. His purpose of existence was to provide Abhir with everything he never had as an orphan and today by choosing him, Abhir fulfilled his purpose.

Abhir chose to be ABHIR ABHINAV SHARMA and rejected being ABHIR ABHIMANYU BIRLA.

With this, with today's episode, I feel like even my purpose of watching the show was fulfilled. Everything that came before and everything that would come after is now absolutely IRRELEVANT. This is the end that I wanted for Abhinav. Regardless of whatever Abhimanyu did or did not do, regardless of his upteenth whitewashing, Abhir's one true wish was being with his parents- Akshara Sharma and Abhinav Sharma. That nobody can change. No future narrative can change that.. and isnt that just wonderful. The entire Kasauli arc, Abhinav arc,Akshnav arc, Abhinav-Abhir arc is finally complete with Abhir's final wish, his choice : To be with his parents and to be A SHARMA.

Abhimanyu Birla had the guts to do what Mr and Mrs Sharma could not.

If Abhimanyu Birla wanted he could have fought the whole world for his son. But he only listened to his son, he could not fight with his 6 year old son.

I am glad Abhir Sharma rejected Abhimanyu. He does not deserve a father like Abhimanyu.

I am glad Abhinav Sharma is going to his parents and Goenkas and I hope his mum and he never look back at Abhi.

It is better to be alone in the world then to be with a wife and son such as AK and Abhir who only called Abhi when they need something out of Abhi.

AK aAbhir and Gonekas please step aside and let Abhi live peacefully. Don't care about Goenkas and Sharma, I will watch YRKKH for Abhi.

Whatever happens after, I don’t care. I got my return of investment in watching this show post leap, full justice to Sharma family. I have no complaints whatsoever be the endgame.

This kind of closure, many lead pairs don’t even get that abhinav got. His Kasuali family choosing him and being with him happily.

I liked that they were logically discussing things today. That they discussed almost every aspect about the custody.

1. They discussed about the child getting affected

2. They talked about how nobody is actually happy

3. They talked about how other children in the family are getting negatively affected

4. They also discussed about finances to give light to the other side of the spectrum too, but it was evident that that was the only thing on the other side

Most importantly I resonated with Swarna’s point on mental health of a child getting affected and was surprised that such things are getting discussed on ITV

It was clear from the start that Abhir will not feel at home with the Birlas and would always yearn for his parents. Abhimanyu thought that he could change that perception of Abhir and make Abhir happy too, but had to be hit with reality, and only Abhir could have made him accept that reality.

Manjari, I still did not like, because to her it is always and only about her son. Today again she was only caring about her son. Its okay and I do understand that she does not want her son to be alone, but problem is her selfishness. She wants to keep everybody near her son, even at the cost of kids. Abhir is not the only scapegoat sadly, she did the same with Roohi too when Arohi wanted to leave. Her character needs to humble down and at least her realising her mistake in keeping Abhir away from Akshara can be called as the inception to her journey of humbling.

I liked Kairav calling out Akshnav for trying to deviate the conversation and just to not hurt Abhimanyu indirectly hurting Abhir again, thus stopping another catastrophe of misunderstandings, and giving Abhir’s wish more importance as how it should be.

Parents should always prioritise the child’s happiness over their own and they all needed a reality check about the same, which they got today.

Abhimanyu came to Abhir’s life pretty late and by the time he came the place of a father was already taken in Abhir’s life by Abhinav, so Abhimanyu was anyways fighting a lost battle.

And no, I don’t think it is Akshara’s fault here. Akshara was pushed away by Abhimanyu. He gave her divorce when she was at her lowest, so already broke her trust. She tried reaching out to talk about the surviving child but he pushed her again, never cared to look back or search for her for months, so definitely she had no reason to return back either. That will hurt anybody’s self respect. If she had not returned but told about Abhir, the Birlas would have snatched the kid away from her easily. Agar abhi financial instability can win over everything to uss time pe bhi it could have easily, because we all know Akshara never had a good career path. So, once she decided to stay away from Abhim, it was already known she will not try telling about Abhir anymore. And it’s difficult to say if that’s right or wrong because both sides would have wanted the kid and would have fought selfishly, so her being selfish then Idk whether to call it right or wrong. Not to mention Abhimanyu’s lines in anger that he did not want to hear about the kids either might have stung Akshara back then when she was already finding it difficult to trust the guy and trying to reach out only for the sake of their kid. And then 6 years passed by. No doubt Akshara is wrong too in many things but this situation was built on Abhimanyu’s rash decisions earlier and these are the consequences he is facing.

6 years of Abhir living a certain life is now difficult to erase.

Akshara,Abhinav and Abhir literally left Abhimanyu alone and went to Kasauli lol. Guess who turned up and wouldnt leave them alone. 😆

I agree that Abhir Sharma doesnt deserve a father like Abhimanyu. He deserves better. Way way better. And by god's grace, he already has one. The name's Abhinav Sharma,

This is so beautifully written. I don't even have anything to add. You summed up Abhinav, Akshara and Abhir's relationship so well. They were, are, and will always be a family. And only death could do them apart. Glad that makers showed that as long as Abhinav is around, he will always be Akshara and Abhir's only choice, a thousand times over.

Difficult to erase because Akshara Sharma made sure she was always at Birlas to scream and display her insecurities. She never gave Abhir and Abhi to bond properly.

This is ITV not real life, they won’t show things elaborately with court case etc, if it is signed nani divorce is done. They won’t show in detail if it doesn’t serve the plot or add to the drama.
